Not an artist, so just names will have to suffice. But to make it interesting, I’ve done little insight blurbs as to why these characters would react how they do. Might be a tad spoilery for some characters (Reima, Kaito, and Shergar) because this question is actually somewhat relevant to future events in the novel.
Reima - Would eventually oblige and give her all to the cause, but not without asking a shit ton of questions and being distrustful at first. She’s a soldier, and all she wants is to do the right thing, but her increasing awareness of her own beliefs may lead her ideals to clash with the powers that be.
Loca - She’s game. Adventure awaits, and she’s not one to pass up on the opportunity to do something cool. That said, she might be a little too enthusiastic and not fully understand the gravity of the situation.
Jinnai - ‘K’ doesn’t really mean yes or no with her. She just simply acknowledges the situation for what it is. She believes there’s a fluke in the system, probably won’t do anything about it, and just waits for someone more worthy of the cause to step up to the plate.
Kaito - This is a man who is already living in a constant state of denial over his own identity. Hearing something like this would probably break him. Given his fragile mental state, he will only retreat further and further into the tunnel of lies he’s dug for himself, and once he’s in there, good luck pulling him back out.
Izo - Would REALLY rather not. This is too stressful for him and he’s going to do everything in his power to weasel his way out of it. He’s pretty submissive though. A little probing and reassurance will be enough to get him to cooperate.
Shergar - He’s tired and just wants to give up. He has no willpower left in him and just wants to be done. Unfortunately, his circumstances won’t allow for this. At the end of the day, he knows he’s powerless against his fate, and while he’s not happy about it, he won’t do a damn thing to try and challenge it.
