Humor me (introducing my comic)

Hi !

I've been around for a few months already and about a week ago, I finally decided to launch my very first comic, Humor me =)
There are only a few pages online but it's probably enough for you to decide if you're interested or if don't want to hear about it ever again thank you.

So basically it looks like this :

It's a slice of life comic with a pretty long plot (and a slow paced romance). The story revolves around two siblings, Charlie, a socially impared high schooler and Lucian a cute kid with way too much vocabulary, who live by themselves, trying to escape social services and any social interactions in general (without much luck).

I'll upload a new page every friday with a surprise update whenever (if) I get ahead of my buffer (that doesn't sound right english wise... sorry, not my mother tongue.. you get the gist !).

Hmmm... what else... Ah, I love animation, and here's one I did to thank my subscribers because they've been really awesome (tapastic's community is so incredibly friendly...) :

I feel like it's doing pretty well on its own so far but as I've been a lot on the forum, it kinda feels like I "know" some of you so I wanted to introduce it here properly...

Ahh, I'm really excited for this comic. I just happened upon it yesterday and it looks so cute! Your art is really professional looking and I love the animated thank yous. I was wondering if you posted your work anywhere else, like tumblr? I'd love to see more of it! Anyways welcome! Your comic seems to have a really promising future and I wish you the best of luck.

@PocketFloral No I'm not very active on internet, every time I opened a tumblr or deviantart or something, I grew tired of it pretty quickly and let it die... =D
I'm just doing this comic to learn about naration, pacing, composition and to have a context because I'm always more inspired when I have a context =)

Yeah, I'll let you know =)
I don't plan to do animated pages for several reasons.
The main one is that my goal is to get this story printed one day so it has to work without animations.
The second is that I'm already too slow so it wouldn't be a good idea to add that to my workload.

Another reason is that I would feel pretty frustrated to animate only small cycles... Because I have yet to see an animated comic that works with animating full movements... the fact that it loops makes the movement unclear and breaks the flow in my opinion...

But I'll probably do little animations like this one from time to time if I get tired of drawing fixed characters =D

Oh my god, you're right ! It's HM's 5 year anniversary soon ! I should probably do something but... time... -_- And on one hand I'm proud I'm still as passionate about it (if not more !) 5 years later, on the other hand, I'm so not-productive-enough it's depressing to see how slowly the story is progressing...

Ah well, thanks for reminding me of this very old topic, it made me laugh
