I am a writer looking for an artist for WEBTOON [UNPAID] CLOSED

Hi everyone! I am currently searching for an artist that would be willing to collaborate with me to work on a WEBTOON. As stated in the title, I am unfortunately unable to pay the artist I'm planning to work with. However, I would like you to know that I am hardworking and will not fail to do anything I can to create a unique enough story that I’m hoping may be Featured someday. In that case, the artist would receive 80% of the profits because I completely respect and understand the fact that the artist has a MUCH heavier workload than the writer, which is why I sincerely apologize for the unpaid aspect of this project. I know this is a big commitment, but I'm passionate about making a WEBTOON and would love to make my stories come alive on the page. I must also mention that I want this to be a long term project that you are willing to invest in. In other words, I am looking for someone who could upload an episode with multiple panels every two weeks — I am not looking for perfection, but I am looking for precision which I understand is a lot to ask for. Of course, if you’re extremely busy, there is no harm in taking a break because I know I am asking for a lot. As for the drawing style, I would prefer it to be on the realistic side (with relatively proportional facial and body features). Being able to draw people of all ages and body structures is another one of my preferences. I am thinking that the genre of the story will be fantasy, action, and a hint of romance. In addition, I'm willing to take any suggestions that the artist has for how the story I decide to use can be improved because that is the least I can do -- I only wish to make the foundation and basics of the story and the rest can be discussed. your post doesnt have any information on the comic, its length, and most importantly doesn't have any examples of your own previous work!
even if you don't have a solid story you want to pitch at this point, a general idea for what genres it will be based on what you're comfortable and good at writing, and what lengh it'll be, can be helpful.

Do you have a connection or experience that makes this a greater possibility? Do you already have an offer for it?

Additionally, 80% of nothing is still nothing. Ad revenue and profits from webcomics is minuscule at best, and most comics don't get any at all.

Unfortunately, no, I do not have an offer. However, I believe that striving to be Featured is a good goal to have. I’m sorry if I was unclear in my description. I cannot promise that being Featured will be a result of this collaboration, but everyone has to start somewhere.

Okay. But where's the pitch? If you are at the stage that you're seeking an artist, you should have at LEAST the following:

• A working Title
• A plot, a least in summary
• At least the main characters in brief description
• Rough estimate of the length of the story
• Literally anything beyond the vague genre.

Also, and this is just a minor thing, I would strongly suggest getting familiar with paragraph breaks.

Why is anyone supposed to trust you?
You have no following. You're a fairly new account. You have no posted examples of your work. You have no one vouching for your credibility. And you have no budget. You expect a high quality artist (judging from your requirement for accurate anatomy and realism) to drop their own projects and fit into your schedule, on the promise of exposure and maybe someday a feature on a platform already drowning in an over-abundance of original works?
With you having no pre-established following or platform to promote your works, how do you expect to get noticed, let alone featured? Ad revenue on Webtoon and on Tapas is pathetic pocket lint.

To any artists looking at this thread:
Don't waste your time on unpaid exposure projects. Unless the OP is offering compensation, spend your time on your own original projects, unless you've been offered a partnership with someone who actually has a platform. You don't need to shill out for ambitious nobodies.

Somekh made a truly valid point, and it goes back to what I asked about being featured. You can certainly keep searching, that's up to you. But if you have dreams of being featured and having a style that is anywhere near realism, you will not find it with unpaid work. I have no doubt there are artists out there eager for the chance to work on something, just to get the experience. But I guarantee they will be young, inexperienced, and generally unskilled. To that, you might find someone over on DeviantArt.
