I know you do explain this in response to one of your comments, but I find the story hard to get into when each panel is a separate page.
I understand on your website it works beautifully. Posting on Tapas I feel like the story would be even more enjoyable if my screen didn't have to take a few second to load the next panel. Stacking maybe four panels per page would be a major improvement.
Personally I just feel like I can't get as immersed in the story as I would like, with there being one panel pages.
On a more positive note. I love your art style it's very beautiful and soft looking.
Even though I appreciate the full use of color in the later panels I really loved how you used color in the earlier panels. It really set the mood for each scene and gave the story it's own uniqueness.
I completely love Caral, she is a adorable cinnamon roll that needs to be protected. She better stay safe while her brother is away, or there will be tears and rage.
The plot is interesting. With the witch trials and the different worlds. Good job on that.
I really like the characters. Favorite being Caral (I got a little teary eyed on that one scene with her) and the King, even though we only get to know him for a heart beat, I enjoyed his character. I'm still mad at the little kid who tried to rat them all out though. That boy has some explaining to do.
Pacing, goes back to my earlier critique. It feels a bit choppy, having to scroll past an ad in order to get the next juicy part.
Over all good story, fascinating plot, likeable characters (they are the most important part of building a good story). Mostly steady dialog.
I'm interested to see where this goes.
