I was just working and then tried to use the Scale/Rotate tool which suddenly started glitching out and wouldn't let me move anything. Then I tried the lasso tool to move it, but still nothing worked. So I was going to restart the program and then clicked on save and got a popup that read:
"Failed to save file. If this message is displayed several times again, select [Save as] in [File] menu and change the location to save files. If the folder, which synchronizes files with outer storage or online storage, is designated as a location to save, designate to the other location."
Tried to save all my other open files, and the same message popped up. I tried opening a preexisting artwork from file explorer because that solved the save problem that I had yesterday, but it didn't work this time. It showed me an error popup saying that the file didn't exist or something.
I just decided to keep working and figured that it would work out later, and after maybe 10 or 20 min, csp just froze for like 3 minutes and then crashed. I reopened it, and most of my open files were restored except the piece that I was working on.
I lost a few hours of work and that piece was for a commission which means that I have to delay it again, delaying the other commission work I have, and then delaying everything else.
I don't know how to fix this problem if it happens again, I've looked it up but haven't found a real solution. I've tried designating a different save location, and it still wouldn't save. I tried using both [Save As] and the normal save button.
csp, you piece of shit. square up. I will fight you.
edit: just found out that my entire workspace was reset for no reason. I'll just go cry now
