I have a semi-successful comic. I need a new artist

hi, I'm the creator of DiscoBleach comics
it's a gag-a-day comic that's gotten a fair bit of traction here on Tapastic [some 800 subscribers]. unfortunately I've had a falling out with my artist and now I'm in need of a new partner.
it would be, as stated, an unpaid gig. ad revenue is nothing to write home about but if it becomes something substantial I will give you all of it [currently sitting at $3.50.. yeah]. I would be looking to put out about one comic a week. ideally I would like someone who shares my sense of humor, and might give their own thoughts on the writing as well.
I know most people here have their own projects going on, but maybe the decent amount of exposure this comic has had might be a point of persusasion. doesn't hurt to try.

What about getting everyone involve. If each artist does one page you're set for the summer! Do you have an ending in sight or is it for an undefined lenght of time?

@Jrej well that's an interesting proposition, but how easy do you think it would be to find 8 artists to do one page each? as a gag comic, i see no end for it, every time it's a brand new scenario. no ongoing story.

if you can't find 8 artists I might even do more. 1 comic per week doesn't sounds very manageable at least over the summer break

your responses have made me think, it would nice to turn my 'misfortune' into a positive. make discobleach a guest comic project to give exposure to you guys.
@Jrej , @heartshapedlips , you guys are both very talented. i'm now on a mission to find 8 guest artists [I'm at 4 at the moment] and the summer will be all set! maybe, just maybe, one of you will enjoy the experience so much that you'll want to keep going.. who knows

I am going to add my name as well, because it sounds really funny. However, I'm a working lady and do not have more freetime just because it is summer. So I need the script more than one week in advance if possible.
Just to make sure I definitely have it done in time.

Have you thought about the style yet? Do you want to keep the look of your previous comics or do you want us to give it our own twist?

@Jrej i would love for you to make more than one comic. as long as they're spaced out over time. we'll see the response this gets.
@ratique of course, i was meaning to add this. if you guys want to do your own idea that's fine, if you want a script I'll be happy to provide one as well. as for the art style just do what you're comfortable with. in fact i wouldn't be against using your regular style, as i see this as kind of a plug for your own comic as well? if that makes sense.

So you still have your own voice but with different style.

At least a theme or a sentence to build up from!

that's cool! i'll make sure to write something for you guys. it's just that i have a few friends who make comics with a similar tone to mine, i gave creative freedom to them so i wanted to give you that opportunity as well. but scripts are on the way don't you worry B)

so what do you guys say i add the scripts in the same document as i write them, and when you guys want one of them you message me for it and I delete it from the list?
