I need a new cover for my comic

Last month, I released my comic on webtoons, and to add an extra layer of polish, I made a new cover, one which I liked so much that I changed the tapas version to it. But now, I realize that I don't like it much, and it's pretty sloppy. So, for the sake of making the tapas and webtoons versions of my comic distinct, I wanna make a new cover.

Which do you prefer? Also, if it's not too much to ask, it'd be a great help if I got some extra ideas for the covers, cuz I'm really not too sure how to make one, and I've really just been winging it.

I prefer the last option. It shows dynamic move set with an attitude on his face.

What art program are you using, might I ask?

Also- find a suitable font that you can use as a title/logo font, instead of hand writing the font & credits...

I use krita for my art, it's free.
As for the font, do you have any recommendations?

definitely agree on using the third sketch as it's the most dynamic! if you're looking for fonts i'd consider trying Blambot or Google Fonts

there's also other free font sites like dafont or dafontfree, 1001 fonts, fontspace, or the font library.

the main thing is just double checking the fonts license in that it's free for personal or commercial use or if it's a paid font. by default google fonts are all under cc0 license if i remember right which basically means free for anything and some bambloot fonts are similar

beyond that it's just going for what most appeals to you or what you think bets suits your comic along with the basics like readability and clarity but you've got a good foundation

I'll second @VibrantFox and suggest Blambot- he has a LOT of [comic style] fonts for FREE...there are other resources as well.

I like the random "squiggly lines/shapes" background you have going on...if you were planning to keep it, I would just suggest finding a true halftone brush and have the tones themselves be diff colors.
