Well, I don't know what sort of thing you like writing, but if it's just an opening you want, I can give you the one our GM gave us for our Dungeon World-campaign.
Your main character is in the room they've rented for the night in an inn in a moderate-sized, sleepy town. It's evening. They hear a commotion outside, and look out the window. Outside, down the street, they see the town guards herding a group of tired, ragged-looking people into a warehouse, barring the doors and windows, and setting the whole structure on fire.
What does your main character do?
