omg my life is complete, but alas, i was looking for humans. thanks anyway

So I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for, but I remember playing Wizards 101 when I was younger, and that was quite fun.

If you're specifically looking for a game with dynamic character creation, there are lots of fun and free MMOs that have that. Maybe Neverwinter Nights Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online. And I know probably lots of others since free-to-play MMORPGs have gotten more common.

ii was looking for a nonmmo rpg game with online features that are available for free (and open world)

Do you mean a game that can be played online with friends, but just friends and not strangers? (ie multiplayer but not "massively multiplayer")

strangers as well

here look up pony.town add a name to a default pony and see what i mean

I'm sorry, but looking it up didn't help, all I got was ponies apparently build a town, and you can talk to other people. That is considered an mmorpg though. MMO stands for Massively Multiplayer Online, so if you're looking for a game where you can interact with various people online, you do want an MMO. RPG is Role Playing Game.

I would love to help you find a game, but you're going to have to be more specific about what you're looking for. Otherwise I can only say good luck and hope you figure it out. BUT if you give me clearer details I'll see if I can find something relevant.

sorry im an idiot,i thought mmo meant like fighting and stuff. why am i like this -o-

Lol, its okay, that was why I specified. People tend to say "MMORPG" rather than spelling it out, so it's not a strange connection.

So, you're looking for a game with a more social component instead of fighting?

exACTLY.
I kinda hate when its only fighting and you cant talk to friends

Yeah, I personally prefer story driven games in general. I don't mind combat, but an engaging story is what gets me - and all the better if game play and problem solving is creative.

I don't tend to do social gaming, but I can suggest you search things like "nonviolent mmos", "nonviolent mmorpg" and you'll probably find some lists, and try "social mmos" too. And you can always add in "free to play" or not depending on what turns up. And maybe check consider downloading Steam- it's great for PC gamers and has lots of indie games, inexpensive games, sales, AND you can use them to search for free-to-play stuff.

And if I come upon anything that seems like you might like it, I'll get back to you. ^^

its an mmo, but perfect world has a super, SUPER in-depth character creator. i used to play it specifically for that. unfortunately it takes ages to download since the game is so big.

You thought of commissioning an artist to draw for you? I mean this is a webcomic forum and all.

I actually second gaia online bc sometimes I use the avatar creation aspects to get inspiration for my work.

They’re looking for a social game/mmorpg, not an oc maker, they just had some trouble phrasing it .!
