Need feedback on idea(s):

Hey I'm the creator of "Punto Presto", just yesterday I upoaded an animation video of my webcomic's character and I found interesting the concept of animating my webcomic's pages. I mean creating youtube animations of my Webcomic, putting the voices and sounds etc... I think it could be like a compilation of multiples pages I've made that I animate for a single video that could be like 3 minutes or something.

Do you think making animated compilations of my webcomic's pages could be a good idea?

I would start with something small and simple.

The artist for Hamus has stuff like the location at the top of the image showing up letter by letter, or the "apple" will glow. Stuff like that that's just a part of the artwork and not the whole.

Keep in mind that you likely won't want to do the entire page because of people with epilepsy.

Sorry but I don't understand what you want to say ^^'

I'm not sure what to rephrase for you since I don't know what part confused you.

Are you talking about the letters that appears one by one ?

I'm still not certain what it is you're asking. Like how a gif works? Gifs function by being multiple images with slight variations per and are condensed into a "gif" image to create the animation - .png and .jpg filetypes cannot be animated but you can use those filetypes to make a .gif.

For the gifs from "Hamus"? Yes. The letters that appear one by one are an animation/gif image. That is just one way to go to encorportate animation into your comic. Another way to go would to be to do like their glowing apple effect, which is likely just 3 images moved into the gif. The letters are however many are needed slowed or speed up in the animation, so a longer text like like "Edge of the City - 4pm" could be 17-20 images for the gif.

Oh no I wasn't talking about gifs, I already do that for Punto Presto, I was talking about making little animations on youtube, animations of my webcomic. Like a cartoon of my webcomic.

Go for it :hype_01: I watched the video and found it cute -w- Reminds me of those animated storytelling vids thats popular on youtube :slight_smile:
