Thanks for taking the time to read and review Trespasser! I really appreciate it.
Yeah, Comic sans was a really bold choice I know haha. When I was researching for Chapter 01, I compared the fonts of Marvel and DC and tried to figure out what they used. But they use some proprietary font I wasn't willing to pay for (it's just a passion project whose main audience is me, after all.) So Chapter 01 was made with comic sans, because it just looked close enough to it. I have since changed the font, because I just knew I couldn't continue on with that.
As for the overarching story, I get where you're coming from. I'd say it comes from a flaw in my development process. For the 1st Chapter I left things intentionally more vague, so I could fill in the blanks as I moved forward. My main goal with it was to develop a production process and get a feel for making a comic. But Chapter 01 became bigger than I originally anticipated and in Chapter 02 certain story choices forced me to rethink other storybeats. There was also a shift in narrative focus, away from a classic fight against a big bad and more towards character exploration, but with the big bad elements still present within the story. I'm not going to lie, it was a big challenge to try and marry the two concepts moving forward into Chapters 3 and beyond, but I feel satisfied with how I handled it and I think it will have a satisfying conclusion.
I've accepted that this story is not going to be perfect, and probably is far from it. But I still have fun making it and it's been a great learning experience.
