Since I have dermatitis, I started writing characters with skin irregularities and such when I was younger, and I still do it pretty often. So I want to see your characters with freckles, facial moles vitiligo, albinism, anything that makes them stray away from the beauty conventions.

Marlais has vitiligo

It takes forever to draw but I think she's super pretty, so it's worth it

I have two characters with freckles, Gale, who I don’t have any good pictures of since I redesigned her  I’ll post it here if end up drawing her. And Eugene.

He also has a wart on the left side of the bridge of his nose, but it’s kind of difficult to see in almost any of my drawings of him unless you know what to look for.
:sob: help it won’t let me upload
Ok finally-

Cathrine Stormsen is covered in freckles from head to toe.

Though I wouldn't say that makes her break any beauty standard haha.

Mommy and son (the MC) has/d freckles.
They're not blood related, and very different in everything, but it is a small detail connecting them.
Both of them we/are uncommon-looking where they lived.

Freckled skin is uncommon here, so when I draw characters with one, some people thought it's acne spot or solar lentigo.

Not sure if this counts since he has an ailment that I made up, but it partially works in a similar way to vitiligo. All that's left of his original skin tone is on his legs

I think freckles are pretty, but unfortunately some people think they should be covered up! It's so sad to me. Andy's freckles are super pretty

Hadn't even thought of cleft lip but that's cool to include. His expression looks so sad!

@theyrebothakilogram

Yeah, that looks a lot like vitiligo. What is it called in your story and what makes it different?

Thank you!!!🥰
That design choice is actually inspired by this girl I knew growing up who was made fun of for her freckles but she loved them. It really inspired me that the quality she was bullied for is what she was the most proud of!

Hey if you love the body you're in, no one else's opinions have to matter. That is very cool of her.
