I would really love a review or feedback for Discount Religion

I have been working on my comic for a long while now and I think it's about time I got some feedback. I really want to strive to make my comic better. The art in the beginning is a little rocky and I know the pacing is iffy here and there but I just want to know what people think and get a good idea of where I need to improve.

The comic can be read here. I'm open to any level of feedback from quick tips to a full review, whatever you have time to give would be wonderful.

oh yeah I'm subscribed to this, from the perspective of reading on and off whenever updates come out the biggest pull for me has been the unique character design and the edgy kinda unsettling vibe of the comic. That being said I am a little distanced from the plot. I'd have to reread from the beginning and give another review from just having read everything.

Thank you, I really appreciate the compliments about the characters, and that was definitely the kinda vibe I was going for! I can definitely see that distancing problem arising, given the sporadic nature of the updates it's kinda hard to follow a story when it only updates a couple times a month if that. If you did re-read it I would really appreciate the effort and look forward to hearing more.

I didn't know about your comic, so I took the time to read it all (which was a major PITA, because Tapastic does NOT like people from Europe. It took me a good hour, and most of it was waiting for the images to load.)

I rather enjoyed it, it has great characters (btw, is Chris a woman?) subtle humor and you're not afraid to get down and dirty. I really did like the inking in the dream sequence, but then you went back to thinner lines. It seems you want to use a different way of inking for the more scary moments?

The lettering is a bit uneven. I'm not talking about the earlier pages, because you seem to have improved a lot since then. But the there's too much text for the size of the bubbles in page 45, for example. It was almost unreadable on a HD screen and I had to zoom in.

All in all, I subscribed, and am eager to see where the story is going.

BUH, I'm sorry it took so long for you to read. I'll have to see about maybe optimizing the pages a bit. The inking is me experimenting with lines. determining whether thick or thin looks better, I've asked people and it seems to come down to personal preference. But I think I like the thinner better. I will definitely see about putting more effort into the lettering. And Chris is a very very feminine looking man. Thank you so much for the feedback and the subscribing. You don't have to bother optimizing pages or anything. It's not you. It's the CDN Tapastic uses (Amazon). Every comic I want to read takes ages to load.
