Thanks Socrates, it's called market research.
I can't tell if this was passive aggressive or not
I definitely do know how to come up with ideas, especially as I do have published novels on here as well, however I just find it enjoyable to write things other people come up with as it allows me to research and experiment with different genres and writing styles. And besides, I have a whole bookshelf at home, I am very much a reader and really enjoy learning about other people's lives.
I would also like to add that on the 26th of December (according to your profile) you said - and I quote - that you "always try my best to avoid giving people advice on how to learn," and on the 18th of December you said that you'd "argue that being able to read really well does not make you a better writer," therefore disproving what you just said about reading more books and talking to friends.
Again, I'm not sure if you meant to sound passive aggressive or not, but I'd like to say that I have been writing constantly for years and have written many short stories, poems, and novels that you would have seen had you actually taken the time to check out my work rather than just making assumptions.
However, assuming that post wasn't made to seem condescending, I would like to thankyou for your advice. Have a good day
