@vongcw As far as I know, the skogsrå is a Scandinavian thing - but it's not impossible that it's shown up in Scotland as well. A whole bunch of violent Scandinavians did invade the British isles back in the 800s, and brought a bunch of their culture with them. It's not inconceivable that the belief in the skogsrå came along.
