If YOU were a Pokémon trainer, what kind of Pokémon would you use?

Before fairy types were a thing I would have said a bug trainer, but man do I love fairy types. And bug types. I have no strategy and just keep around my favorite Pokemon, though, so my party would probably be a mix of bugs and fairies, like...

Ribombee
Galvantula
Klefki
aaand a Sylveon or a Volcarona for good measure!

(I wish I had a Switch to give Sw/Sh a try, but alas I do not... )

Love how you use the ice type! I wish game freak would buff ice types somehow (e.g. they recieve a stat boost in hail like rock types in sandstorm.)

I used to be more of a dragon type fanatic (i'm still a bit of a dragon fanatic), but i noticed that most of my favourites were sand pokemon so that's why i would probably use these pokemon.
I use more of a mixed/balanced team, with a few sweepers and tanks/walls but not hyperstall

I still need to buy the nintendo online function , really stupid since my brother already bought it for his account but it doesn't work for my account apparently

Galvantula and Volcarona are two of my favourite Pokémon as well!

If i had to pick a few fairy and bug types i forgot to list here, they'd probably be:
- Araquanid (i love his design and his ability is absolutely amazing)
- the nincada line
- Centiskorch
- Aromatisse (i once hatched a shiny spritzee back in my novice days. Wish they did a little bit more on the plague doctor part in it's design though)
- the tapu's, mainly tapu bulu
- Grimmsnarl (at first it looked kinda weird but it's starting to grow on me)

Yeahhh it's kinda unfortunate, GF seems kinda biased against ice types they're really good offensively, but reeeeeeally bad defensively, and have the worst weather boosts, and took forever to get similar tools via abilities and moves to the other weathers (just last gen getting Aurora Veil and Slush Rush finally... but then making the distribution of both awful. At least abomasnow and vanilluxe get AV now! And Arctozolt will eventually have Slush rush >u>)

Buuuut they're still awesome and I love them and there are some pretty cool new ice types this gen I wanna try them all out lol

I have a whole documment with my OC's teams, the story of how they met each pokemon and all that, but I never thought about mine x'D

I guess it'd be...

• Arcanine (Arckan - well, my mc's name comes from them so x'D it's a must, I love those big bois)
• Altaria (Altair - this oc's name comes from there as well, they're so pretty<3)
• Absol
  -Gengar (They're (absol and gengar) both pokemons of one oc of mine and... I can't choose between them I love both ;; they're Ute and Hue and they're very precious)
• Milotic (Ginger - Named after an OC of mine since that's her favourite pokemon<3)
• Eevee (Which'd probs evolve into an Espeon. If there's no eevee in a team, it's not mine lmao. I'd probs name them Chocolate or Copito (meaning snowflake, they'd get that name if they were shiny).

I'd also love to add some of my pokemon go's main team (a vaporeon named Dyne (from Undyne, undertale) and an aerodactyl named Blaster (guess from there's that name x'D) mainly<3)

Edit: Also!! If I could add legendaries I'd definitely add palkia (named Deal) and Dialga (named Arckan, my time-stopping protagonist <3)

If i'd pick a legendary based on my favourites, it would be either zygarde or regigigas
Though they really need to buff regigigas

Not really for battles, but my team would be:
-Lumineon
-Staraptor
-Dragonite
-Eevee
-Flabebe
-Mimikyu

If I had to fight, Dragonite would be for single battles and Lumineon and Staraptor for doubles (started in Gen 4 when I'd do a Fly/Surf combo).

I'd probably be a mix of Ghost and Psychic types, maybe with a supernatural/unexplained mystery theme - if I wasn't swamped with work I'd draw a Ghost Gymsona this week or the next for sure.

My team would probably be something like;

• Claydol
• Cofagrigus
• Spiritomb
• Dhelmise
• Dusclops with that spicy Eviolite
• Sigilyph as the signature pokémon

I'd be all about strange movesets, especially do deal with the Dark and Ghost advantage.

Hahaha yeah I have a pokemon AU so it was kinda hard to choose x'D I love them all, pokemon in general is just so nice, I just wish I could play the newest games c': (haven't played since black/white since the last nintendo console I owned was the DSi, that's why most of my oc's teams pokemons are from the older gens c': ).
