Cool topic my friend, and thats sounds neat how your characters personalities are also comparable with stats.
D&D/ RPG classes are actually an inspiration in some cases
Evan Moriarty-

A gross spin on Light Swordsman & Rogue/Thief
He is inspired by Solid and Quasi-solid states and can transform his saliva into various melee weapons and traps very similar to the afformentioned classes. His fighting style is swift and has a tendency to switch between light swords and double daggers. Transforming his saliva into Quasi-Solid states allows him to make sticky substances, poision bubbles and explosive bubbles.
Owen Moriaty

The odd man out & most complicated to compare (inspired by superheroes, ghosts and status altering equipment in games). But going by D&D he could be a cross between none-combatitive Rogue (for his stealth while in gas form) and an equippable status item (he literally turns into gas and fuses with his allies to augment/alter their abilities), guess that also leans into**Artificier** territory too, and Warlock/Sorcerer (bec of situations that happen much later in series).
Xun

Is a cross between Monk and a Water Element Sorcerer
(he's also a homage to fighting games)
Inspired by Liquid state of matter, he mixes unarmed combat Kung fu and can extend his limbs into liquid pillars for ranged attacks (to splash and smash foes) or his entire body (to drown them).
As a liquid he can move sort of snake-like manner and enter porous surfaces, so he does thread into Druid slightly.
Raffa -

Druid and Monk
Inspired by Vapor , he can transform into various animals, his favourite is a Wolf. Just like a Druid he relies on his animal forms to handle tasks beyond his human form's capability. In animal form his physical body has properties of vapor, making him immune to physical attacks, unless you're coming at him with a super fan or vaccuum. His sub category would be Monk, a former assassin, with a large muscular build and of mixed martial arts background.
some quick mentions
Quest Kidd - Ranger- she uses a crossbow and her arrows can activate temporary time altering pockets (loosely inspired by Time Crystals)
Quim Kidd
- A swordless Paladin who uses his kite like a giant shield (his kite can deflect most matter)
