Thesis picks up a greeting card that managed to avoid an attempt to toss it into the fire. He begins to read:

"Dear Mom,
Seeing as how I never had a Dad, I thought I would write you a card for today. Damn, you would have really hated this when you were alive. Good. Fuck you mom, you dead fuck. I survived the apocalypse and you didn't. Hahaha, haha, ha. ha. ha.
-Love Agony"

Thesis looks up from the card at Agony.

"Are you... alright?" He asks. She flips him off, grabs the card from his hands and successfully burns it.

Rekki would get her dad a nice basic card with some sort of silly joke on it and a bottle of real ale and chat in person or on the phone for a bit. They have a pretty good relationship! He'll probably never appear in the comic though, because he's not relevant to the plot... because it's a comic about magical knights and he's an accountant.

Really enjoy your comic! I love that Rekki has a good relationship with her dad, that seems to be very rare with the super-strong / magical hero types. Especially on this thread so far....
Every successful badass needs a nice but somewhat dull accountant to back them up and clean up their messes (just imagine the mountains of paperwork James Bond leaves behind when he crashes through a town "fighting crime").

@KillingTheUndead I subbed, interesting stuff. My comic is also inspired by spooky stuff. Except the heroes are carriers and unwillingly cause the zombie outbreak.

Your brother swooped in! He's been mom's Knight in Shining Armor ever since. You don't exist in our house, save for a pic I keep in my wallet. It's of Mom, Doland and yourself (pic above). In happier times right? You look like quite the ladies man! Can't say I fell far from that tree. They called me Mr. Romeo in school.
I always figured, they were afraid I'll turn out to be like you. Doland felt it was necessary for me to do Track N field! Won the Middle School Nationals, but I preferred guitars instead. Doland has been a d!<k towards me ever since I dropped out... BTW, you're a grandfather too! Noel's my little boy's name! That's a long story! Till I realized I liked guys, another long story!
Thinking back, I always remembered that sweet, windy spot in Overlook Place. You'd stand there, with me on your shoulders. Felt like we were on top of the world! The houses, cars n' trees.. looked like little toys below. We couldn't afford to live there back then, but guess what, we actually live there now!
Above all, a part of me want's to punch you.. yet I envy how easy it was for you... to soar away from it all! I don't know if I could do that, I love Mom, Owen and Noel too much. Owen's your nephew btw. If you're still alive, would be fun to meet sometime, grab some beers...laughter.. that kind of S8!t..

But it seems a lot of our main characters have issues with their fathers, mine is no exception. And I guess that this would be the answer to the question. ^.^

Not knowing much about his father, or rather, knowing just that He exist and He saw him once in a while, Alfredo would likely just buy a green colored card, and wrote: "Thank you dad for being always absent by risking your life every day in order to make the life of the one in need better." the heart is there, but the wording is, meh...

Interesting to know that most of the characters in this thread have daddy issues xD I guess my MC would be sort of an exception but that's only because he's an orphan. Otherwise... he'd most likely be joining the club.

Shinichi: Oh, it's father's day today...
Irish & Zero: ....
Shinichi: Welp, I never knew who my father was anyways.
Irish: ....we thought it was mother's day, so we made a card for you.
Inside the card are three tickets to an amusement park that Shinichi hates but both Zero and Irish love.
Zero: Can you take us there today?
Shinichi: .... sighs
They had fun at the park, although Shinichi's reluctant to admit that he did.
