No the money is barely pocket money unless you have a huge number of subscribers.

You need to cross 100 subscribers to earn ad revenue and that amount is negligible unless you have thousands of viewers. When you cross 250 subscribers you can unlock ink support or during an event known as inksgiving when you can request for it to be turned on. If you're lucky and your novel connects with readers you may have an overnight fan following.Good luck!

Sorry, Tapas uses Paypal to pay creators. You need to be 18+ to get a paypal, and that probably needs to be attached to a bank account. You probably need your parents/guardian to assist you in setting things up.

It's also, just FYI, a really hard way to make money, as drcharlotterodricks said. If money is the driving factor, you'd make more selling lemonade. But if you are into writing, the money is a nice potential bonus, even if it takes a long time to get profitable. And if you're willing to invest years into your writing, you never know where you'll end up.

You probably have to have an account made by your parents, if you made an account it could be locked by PayPal since you're still a minor. And to receive any money, you have to connect a bank account/credit card to your PayPal which I assume you don't have.

Just a notice, I have 3 webcomics on tapas which normally get more ad revenue than novels, and I barely get $0.01 USD per month. I'd get more money if someone threw pennies at me lol. And getting more than 25 subscribers for a novel is something a lot of people struggle with, so it's a really tough playing field.

I was unaware about the paypal minimum age requirement. I agree with Sorible about throwing pennies though.Of late I've been promoting AKA spamming my comic links on Twitter and that has helped but not much. As in it's gone from 1 cent to 3 cents or if I'm lucky 4.

If you want to make money, there are way more effective ways to do that. Even really successful creators on Tapas don't make much, the ad revenue is less than pennies for most.

When I want quick cash, I grab a portable amplifier and some backing tracks and sing on a street corner for a couple of hours. Much more effective.
