I've noticed the general consensus on Line Webtoon is that they prefer longer, less frequent updates more than shorter, more frequent ones. I'm not on Webtoon yet, but I've heard this preference is strong enough to compel people to leave poor ratings and unsub if you update too much.

Not only that, but ratings are based on averages. If one person votes 10/10, it's gonna give your series a perfect 10. But then if another person gives it a 1, you're gonna see your rating dip down to a 5.

As you get more readers with varying ratings, you'll eventually get a rating that's a lot more rounded and average and not skewed based on reader size (a rating that will take a lot more than one or two bad numbers to cause it to sink; and vice versa for good ratings).

I rated your webtoon in perfect 10 :kissing_heart:
Keep it up :kissing_heart:

I think my comic is not so suitable for webtoon then. I upload there for a bit too, and subs went up. But now I am already at the point that they are decreasing a lot

On the rating aspect... there seem to be a bunch of initial haters on webtoons, who seem to downvote new series a lot... i had that too when i started there a year ago. There votes get less noticeable the more normal votes you get though.
My rule of thumb on the webtoonsrating would be to just ignore it anyway... a rating doesn't show the true quality of a series.

If your subs don't or just slowly increase this can have multiple reasons... first if you don't upload frequently (i beleve once every two weeks or so, but don't quote me on that) you get ranked down in the ,popular section' a lot... which will result in a decrease of subs gained... second your series isn't ,new' anymore. I feel like series which aren't on webtoons for long get a little boost in their system to attract an initial audience...
Your uploadtime? I don't have much insight in this topic but there seem to be times where significan more people are online and browsing through fresh that othertimes...
And well the obvious factors to gain an audience: coverartwork, description, etc. i won't go into detail on this....

Hope i was able to help somehow.
