Or all the subs liked all your updates and all the subs give a comment every day

I'd just caution that this can sound very passive aggressive to your readers if they saw this. xD

Unrealistic. Do not trust such a world. It exists only to deceive.

Id be scared if every single sub read. That means that every single one of them tunes in weekly regardless of their real-life situations, which is kind of like... A cult? XD

Im happy for the readers who manage to check out my comic when they have the time. They dont owe me anything.

I don't know if i would be happy about it or not to be honest XD having everyone of them reading my updates could mean also having more negative comments maybe (?) and i could never stand the pression :scream:

t'would be dreamy~ but as someone who's subbed to like 100 comics myself, and only keeps up with like 5 on a weekly basis, and frequently has 50-60 unread notifications at any given time... I beyond relate xD As is there's nothing to complain about, I have an absurd sub-to-engagement ratio o-o something like 15-20% of my subs leave a like and/or comment every single week. I'm beyond flattered even at that  :scream:

"Good morning, sir. Do you have the time to talk about our Lord and Savior [Insert your MC's name here]?"

That would be great!
I have 100-something sub but I the active one is less than 10% (readers from forum are usually the most active one, I'm not talking about you)

I wish I could "block" or make my inactive subscribers to unsubscribe me to save my algorithm. I think the dead sub drags my story a lot.

@graveweaver
A cult?
Have you ever seen the entire Reddit of Tumblr of thirsty manga fans waiting persistently and looking for leaks for days before the particular manga release :no_mouth:

Guys, what is more important, subs and likes and views? Or people actually reading and connecting to your story?

If I could get but one subscribe and like and view per chapter, but a smart, thought-out comment on the part of the subscriber, I would personally be happier than with millions of subscribers.

If it is a question of subscribers, viewers, likers (and this is fair, especially if you guys need this as a platform to commercially publish eventually, I am not judging here), wouldn't it be simpler that you all decide to sub and like each other's, like a pact of sorts. A view is after all someone just scrolling down your page, a like takes less than a second, etc. If you all promised to do that to each other to help out, your stats would look pretty stellar, according to me.

Imagine 100 red dots in your Tapas corner!! :stuck_out_tongue: It would be nice, but alas, such dreams are to grand!

I just wish I could have at least one notification a day that isn't either tapas news, an update to someone else's comic or wall post that's not just on the day I update my comic or the day after =^)

Not a comic but a novel but in my mind, all the people who sub to my novel actually read it :stuck_out_tongue: Don't say otherwise, I'm sure they do! Even if they don't do it now, they'll do it later. They're just mostly silent readers so I don't notice. And I'm sure it's the same for all your comics!

I don't think there's a disagreement with that opinion, at least not in this thread? This thread isn't about wanting more subs. It's about wanting more invested readers. I think what the OP is saying is, "I wish I had as many invested readers as I do subscribers."

or have all ur subs become ur besties IRL and youd have drinks and fun all the time
