Inspiration can come from the strangest places

So I'm doing renovations at the cottage an there is plaster on the bedroom wall. I'm laying in bed looking at this plaster and I notice that it looks like an eager puppy bothering a cat.

And suddenly two new characters were born. Behold, Layla (puppy) and Murph (cat).

I don't know what I'll do with them, but I love them.

Anybody else get characters from weird places?

I don't have characters in particular that were inspired by something particularly random, but sometimes I'd type a normal word but make a typo, and I think 'hm, that sounds like a good name for something' and so I end up with names/fictional words such as Tarvel or Syadium
