Instruments - do you play?

Simple question. Do you know how to play an instrument?

I play the piano and keyboard. Favorite thing to play? Jazz. Favorite song to play? I've got Rhythm.

What's your forte? (haha)

Nothing.....I used to play keyboard and piano but I haven't played in 10+ years so...... I want to learn to play guitar at some point.

I play guitar, bass, banjo... Basically anything with strings.

I have this thing with hobbies... I try out a lot and I hardly stick with anything. I love music and I should probably look for a band or little jam group... but I'm living in a tiny city that doesn't have much to offer D:

Anyways I played piano as a kid (it doesn't count as I don't remember much), some guitar... but bar codes are my everest... it's rather embarrassing ._. Some time ago I bought a concert Ukulele and I'm pretty happy with it (still working on the bar codes.. lol XD) but I can bring it with me and yeah... I like it :3 I had drum lessons for one year.. but playing drums without a band is kinda boring. I still love the instrument. (I'll just let you know that I owned the game Rockband... more or less... haha..)

I would really like to play Cajón. Looking for opportunities to learn it atm.
And Hang... one of the most beautiful instruments imo Oo

I can't play an instrument to save my life. I'm learning to do A Capella stuff though since I can sing fairly well (I think...)
This kind of stuff I guess.

though I guess guitar would be fun to learn....

Guitar. Although I have to admit, I haven't had practice in who knows how long. I used to take classical guitar classes. I was decent but now I've completely forgotten how to read actual notes (not guitar chords). I played a bit of the cello in high school, too.

I play the guitar occasionally with an alarming lack of competency! Entirely to entertain myself really, although I have written a couple of songs.

Two that I really enjoy playing are Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead and The Road by Turin Brakes. Luckily they're not too tricky so even I can manage a reasonable effort at them

Nowadays, all I'd play are mostly Ghibli and Vocaloid music at conventions when there was no activity at my booth to alleviate boredom. Thinking about stopping since not everyone enjoys it :<

Last time I counted 14 instruments, though once you get the hang of the first couple it's really easy to add more. Definitely sounds like we are cut from the same cloth. I have a band called The Kingsbury Manx. I love both art and music and see them as opposite sides of the same coin.
