I'm Mona, I'm the creator of Mona's Comics, I'm a student of International School of Comics in Italy as an illustrator, but I love drawing comics, especially about life, so stupid and funny.

Hi! I'm Kialana, and I've recently started to publish a silly little slice-of-life about the subject of the painting "Girl With a Pearl Earring" and her adventures as an engineering student, Girl With A Pearl Earring Comics, which currently updates Sundays. Nerds of many stripes will find her a kindred spirit, I hope! I'd especially love feedback on the style, which I'm never entirely happy with.

So far, my favorite Tapastic comics are Snailed It, Taihen, and The Graffiti Artists. The Graffiti Artists in particular is very deserving of love.

I'm super excited to be a part of the awesome, friendly Tapastic community!

Thanks! I'm planning to make comics primarily about everyday engineering experiences, which hopefully engineers and non-engineers will both find relatable, and everyday college-student experiences, seen from the perspective of someone who never leaves home without a screwdriver.

Hi Im Moneydog, the author of Girls From Real Life. I'm from Malaysia, awesome country with awesome culture and awesome food. I like to draw for fun, have not made drawing serious until my friend encourage me to open a page in facebook, which is Moneydog(Mandarin), and then my other friend Daryl, who is the author of MiniSteel, introduce Tapastic to me. I am happy to find that there are so much more people who are passionate in drawing and reading comics!

I am an interior designer who work in Kuala Lumpur, love to draw bits of what happened to me. It's fun to see when readers comment "SO TRUE!" or "EXACTLY!", like they have the same experience like I do. With all the supports from you guys, its a great motivation for me to keep on drawing! I love all of you in Tapastic!

...that is philosophy and mindset that we want to remind all comic creators. There are so many creators who ask, "How do I get fans? How do I get readers? Make comics is so hard, how do I find the time?" I tell them that the answer is in front of you. When you create something fun for your friends, they become your first fans + evangelists. They will help you get more readers. They will help you set up your first FB page. They will tell you to share your own on Tapastic. They know you deserve more fans. They will give you energy to make more comics because it's fun to make things for your fans and friends. You have figured out something that many struggle to figure out on their own. Comics is not just about making pretty line, painting pretty colors, etc. Comics is mainly about sharing a piece of you with the world in a very genuine way. Please share this secret with other people at Tapastic. We love your work. We think it's amazing. We think it's hilarious. Through your comics, we feel like we know you and want to get to more about you!

yes, before that i am so worried because i only can draw on paper, people might not like my stories, nobody would read it, i have to commit and update consistently, it's a waste of time... etc... all the negativity! that's why i'm not brave enough to open a page!

but after all these time, i just keep drawing what i like, what happens around me and people around me, eventually gives my comic my own personality, a personality that people recognizes me once they have seen my comic!

i hope you guys just do it the way you want! no matter you draw it on paper or digitally, like Min just said, "sharing a piece of you with the world in a very genuine way!"

This is very true. This is actually my second attempt at webcomiking, the first time I got caught up on making it succeed and it ultimatly failed. This time its about having fun, writing a story I'm proud of and having fun with my art and showing it to my friends.

I'm Fany. I'm not very talkative but I figured I should go say hello... I'm from the Czech Republic and used to make comics back in highschool but due to various circumstances I gave up on them. Now as a university student I met a friend who encouraged me to do comics again and that I should at least post one of the comics I finished in highschool but never uploaded on my website whole.

During the years I noticed that webcomics aren't now much about personal websites but about sites like Tapastic and decided to give it a try and see if the comic is better accessible to readers than on my website.

Dragon Heroes: Crow is being uploaded weekly with three pages every time. ...As I said it's old and full of spelling mistakes but I remember the love I drew it with and if it made you smile at least once, then its purpose has been fulfilled.

Right now I'm just doing whatever I can with Blogium Emporium, a comic I do which is mostly 3 or 4 panel comics. There is no updating schedule, but I'll do at least a page a week!

Believe it or not, I just discovered this forum on Tapastic. This is a great site and I have been enjoying reading some of the great comics everyone is making here.

I have been posting my first webcomic: Dogstar, http://tapastic.com/episode/72143 ,here for about a month.

My comic is about a pilot who will become a hero overnight and will discover his true potential as a powerful magician. I try to update at least once or twice week.

I'm Aero, who loves video games and childhood cartoons about monsters, and makes things that stem from the love of those things :>

I am passionate about making fun, genuine fantasy stories and I currently make two comics about action fantasy adventures - KYRIA and Men+Monsters. The first is PG, a long form lighthearted epic; the second is more mature content with an emphasis on romance as well as adventure.

These two stories are dear to me, as they're the stories I always wanted to see out there while I was growing up. KYRIA is like a readable JRPG with fun replacing the angst, and M+M is a boy's love comic that has a quite loving central relationship and does away with yaoi cliches.

I read Ensanguine on here when it updates, the creator is really cool. Even though it's early on in the story, it's an easy read.

Hello all, I'm new to Tapastic so it's great to see that there's a forum to introduce myself and my work. I'm currently working on a weekly webcomic called Obscurity Fighter.

It's an original pixel art comic about a group of obscure fighting game characters from the 1990s who are struggling to get their arcade game into the spotlight of modern gaming. So, if you're the kind of person who remembers playing Street Fighter II in the arcades with fondness, you'll probably enjoy my comic.

Prior to this comic, I've gained some notoriety on the interwebz for my Sesame Street Fighter parody artwork.

Anyhow, I'm really enjoying the great comics on Tapastic so far, and glad to have my comic here as well.

Hi, I'm Tony and I have two comics going on here at the moment. Which in hindsight seems like a terrible plan as they're quite different and it's like I have to scoop out my brain, re-format it, and stuff it back in as I switch between styles. Keep an eye out for murderous psychopaths inadvertently popping up in a supermarket scene where someone's trying to decide between corned beef and salami for lunch. Have I gone on too long? Probably. Anyway, this is them.
