Hey Tapastic community! My name is Michael Hayden and I thought this was a good place to introduce myself and my comicHeroes for Ghosts1! Heroes for Ghosts is a futuristic science fiction epic in the tradition of Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica with a healthy dose of super-powered metahuman action! The structure of the story is long form graphic novel with self-contained "books" but an open ended over-all storyline. The themes are fairly dark and the mood is dramatic with a touch of levity here and there. The narrative follows the lives and missions of a futuristic superhuman "black ops" team as they fight a powerful alien empire that threatens all of the Milky-Way civilizations with slavery and death!
As for myself, I'm an Austin, Texas based musician and stay-at-home dad with two bands and two small boys to share my action figures with. My great loves are My family, making art, playing the drums, and all things "science"--something I try to slip into my writing when I can! Hope you guys will check out the comic and say hello!

Hey guys, I'm Omega, at least to my friends, so you can all call me Omega, I guess.

I'm a cartoonist, and a bit of an amateur writer. Well, I'm an amateur at pretty much everything I do sadly, I'm a bit of a jack of all trades. But my main passion is art, comics, and film, something you'd probably get a strong feel from in my comic works.

Before anyone gets upset by what I do, yes, I'm a furry artist, and yeah, I know the stigmas that come with that. But I try to be moderate, I try to be family friendly, and I love to support my fellow artists! I also love to create stories, interesting worlds and wonderful people. I'm not sure anything can equal putting hard time and effort into something and the satisfaction with seeing it come to life, in what ever way it does.

I run 3 comics on Tapastic. The first is called Life Goes On, http://tapastic.com/series/Life-Goes-On1 , which is sort of like a family sitcom with anthro's. It's set in a some-what contemporary world, but with a strong underlay of magic through the entire thing, and follows, well, I won't spoil it for you if you want to read it. The second comic I do is set in the same world, but much MUCH earlier, to bring more depth to the world I'm working in. And the last is a comic I do to get the madness out of my brain....

But I've got so many other ideas, and I'm always on the look-out for anyone who would like to help bring those ideas to life! If you're an artist, and are struggling to think of a good story, come talk to me some time, I'd love to help.

Hi all! I'm DarkHumor, or Bri if you will, and I'm the shy, busy, secluded type of person. I currently am writing AND drawing my only series Dual Reality2. It's about a writer who gets sucked into one of her fantasy stories where the character is a gang leader in a capitalistic world and has to fight to survive. I draw with the built in Paint tool for my comics until I get Photoshop but I say they still look good.

Hello My name is Mimi,2 I'm an artist, and a quark Comic creator. I usually think I'm funny when I know I'm not but I guess people like my awkward humor- HAHA. I've never actually been on the forms because I dont usually know what to say to things and people. I'm kinda really shy- but I try not to be.

I'm the artist and one of the writers of Adrast Which is a fantasy adventure based comic that I have been working on for about 2-3 years now. Um its improving in both art and story telling. I work reeeally hard on it, and am trying to improve my skills more. It is a Long form comic and it updates every week one page- which I know is slow but I'll try to make it faster.

I also write a short form comic called The Not So Wonderful Life of Mimi, which I kinda neglect a lot. Not because I dont want to do it but because I run out of things to draw for it sometimes, also I'm super busy with Adrast and... //cough// video games.

I'd like to make more series later on in the future but will how I work on adrast it might be A LONG time in the future. //sweats//

Oh man I didnt mean to make this a text wall!

Hi I'm James Boyd and I just posted my webcomic @SunnySideUP . Its about an egg, a piece of celery, a carrot, and a tomato who live in the real world. Most of the time they greet the problems of life with wry sarcasm.

I started drawing these on a white board and eventually figured out how to trace and paint them on computer. I am also a graduate student in a physics Ph.D.program. I am married and have an 8 year old son.

I try to follow four rules with Sunny - make at least one comic everyday, post anything that is done as soon as its' done (no waiting or holding comics over to post the next day, write comics that anyone of any age might enjoy, write comics that make me laugh not that I think will make others laugh. So far I have only missed creating two days since Easter. If anyone else uses their own rules let me know. I like knowing about others processes.

My name's Jessica or otherwise known as AkaOkami.
I'm actual more of a computer major but I've loved drawing for as long as I can remember. So after years of doodling in high school notebooks and making up alternate worlds in my head, I've decided to make a comic myself.

I'm currently working on Identity1, my comic, which centers on the lives of certain individuals, who live in a world where super-powered beings aren't all that out of the ordinary.
The characters struggle to find their place in the world. To find who they are themselves. And to realize that super heroes aren't the only ones that have alter egos.

I'm still rather new to the site, so I can't say I have any favorite artists or comics from the site at the moment. But I can't wait to dive in to see everyone's amazing works.
