The thought of that terrifies me, lol.
After living in Japan for 5 years, I can almost say that it's an introvert's paradise -- at least in Tokyo and many other places that isn't Kansai. People don't make small talk with strangers, always keep to themselves and a packed train during rush hour will be as quiet as anything except for the sound of the tracks, faint music from someone's earphones and some coughs and sniffs here and there. Sometimes you get the occasional students or old ladies chit chatting. The friends I made at school and work almost always mind their own business and go home after the day ends. Nobody pries or discloses their personal life info easily. Hardly any hugging, touching or entering acquaintances' personal space without permission. Shit, I've only seen ONE public display of affection so far XD
Oh man, I fear I might have gotten a little too used to this kind of silent environment.
