your comics drama, so no. no template is good. but your specific template tells people your comic is a gag-a-day comic.
you should vary your panels in size and not let gutters cross, to make it flow better and more interestingly. with panel size and placement you can control pacing, which is really useful.

you dont need to use templates; you can draw your panels uniquely for each page. and should. but if you do want to use templates, use about 5 and pick which one works best with whatevers happening on that page - and when making or getting them, think about pacing. a panel at the end of a row has emphasis, a big panel after small ones has emphasis, lots of small panels can be very fast, a big panel slows it down. lots of big, jagged panels can be used for action.
