No. There isn't.
Because subscriber count is only one of the things to be gained by creating comics. Of course it's encouraging to have subscribers; you're sharing your work on the internet and want it to be appreciated.
Just don't get too hung up about how many people are subscribing. The important thing is to enjoy creating what you want to create.
"But!", you say, "What about the comics with 10,000 subscribers? Surely they did something?"
Yes, but they worked very hard, and probably for a long time, to get where they are now.
^ That's probably part of the reason right there. Comics usually take a few months to gain traction. I myself was frustrated at the beginning that I could not seem to find any readership. But it just takes time, and work.
Interact with the community. Chat with people on the forums, get other social networking sites with a link back to your comic. Note that not all of this is to promote. Sure, it's good to promote once in a while, or if it's the right time and place, but really, just give it time.
