I only discovered her a couple of years ago, but she's been a great inspiration to me since: Kaoru Mori. I don't know if other people here have heard of her, but if you haven't, check out her work, it's amazing~

I love Kaoru Mori's style! I've only read Emma though, but her details are spectacular.

I forgot to mention one of my biggest inspirations, and I realized too late. haha.

I pull from Junko a whole bunch, and she does soooooo many series. I really love her art. <3 As for my coloring techniques, well, I just kinda pull that out of my ass. (I really suck at coloring. haha)

OMIGOSH, I love this manga!!!

It's definitely one of those shoujo's that break away from all of those tropes and is self-aware. A lot of the recent BL and shoujo mangas have been doing that lately.

Surprisingly not the artists of adventure time as everyone seems to think.

The main ones for me are Hayley Mewsome/Lavendertowne here on tapas, the rooster teeth show camp camp and also a random art youtube channel that I can't remember the name of because I've only watched half of one video (surprisingly that one had the greatest inspiration).
