Issue with the subscriber count

Okay so I've noticed something. Every time i get a subscriber on any of my series, it doesn't count. Like It not that i'm getting a huge number of subs or anything like that but when someone does subscribe the number stays the same.

I had 92 a few weeks ago. i got a new sub and it dropped to 91, and i'm like....wait did i lose two subs and gain one? that made sense then but the next day i gain another subscriber but it dropped to a 90 and once again i think i must have lost a sub as soon as i got a new one but it was still weird to me that when i wasn't gaining subs the number was fine but as soon as i did it dropped.

Two weeks ago i had total of 90 subs, got two or three subs nothing happened, it stayed the same and i thought maybe i didn't see the sub count right? today i got a sub. It is still at a 90. at this point it's either a person unsubs at the same time a person subs (which i find unlikely) and if this is the case what are the chances it happens several times?
I haven't been updating regularly (due to personal health issues) so could that be it?

I've actually seen something similar with my sub count, now that I'm reaching 50 subscribers. Recently some family members subscribed, and around that same days they did some subscribers disappeared/unsubbed.
This is going to sound like a conspiracy theory, but I'm pretty sure some of the subs who went away were those strange accounts that have 3k+ comics in their library, no profile photo, and never respond or comment. I noticed their absence because they kinda bothered me.

I wouldn't worry about it too much - it's likely a coincidence. You're just in a lull right now. Some people just subscribe to bookmark a series then unsubscribe when they're caught up. There are so many reasons why someone might unsubscribe and there will be times where you might go 2-3 weeks maybe even more where it feels like you're sub count is going nowhere because people are unsubscribing faster than they're subbing and thats okay - it happens! You also mentioned you haven't been able to be as consistent as usual so this could have an impact as well.

Don't focus soo much on the numbers! They're just going to bring you down when you're stuck in a lull. Just keep putting out quality content and the subs and views will come

Seconding the others. This comes up occasionally, and every time it's looked into it turns out to be coincidence- though glitches do happen! It's always okay to ask if you see something weird!

This happens to me occasionally. I sort of stopped relying on the subscriber count as being an accurate feature a while back.
