Hi everyone. I'm writing and drawing a comic. Still haven't posted it online because i'm figuring out how Tapastic works. I speak Spanish and English and i'm wondering if there's enough people speaking Spanish or another language besides English. I will post my comic in English, but i wanted to know if it was worth it to also post it in Spanish or another language.

We have Italian and Swedish translations of our series and both receive very few reads.

I feel like it'd depend on the language? I know spanish is one of the more common languages for people to know within the US but unless there's demand for it - I think it's better to leave it as english to save yourself the time & effort that goes into translating.

I think you have to look at the demographics of the readers on the site.
I do believe there is a large enough Spanish-speaking population here to warrant it, that and Brazilian Portuguese.

That's a good point joannekwan. ¿Is there a way to look at that info?, for example find out the percentage of spanish speaking users or helpfull data like that?

Well there aren't any tools here that can tell you, and I'm not sure if there are any sites out there that collect such data on Tap. I'm just going by what I've observed from commenters and creators and the prevalence of Spanish/Portuguese series on here.

mmmh I guess there might be more suitable platforms for other languages. Tapas is english dominant, but any country has at least one good webcomic dedicated website. I've put Dawn of the Dad on the italian platform in italian, and it reached some nice results, but I'm sure it wouldn't be the same on Tapas

If you want to publish in spanish you can go to subcultura.es I've been posting my comic in spanish over there and I'll keep doing it. Tapas is english based so I think is better to keep the english stuff here.
