What have you come to love about making comics? what do YOU like about your own? Let's all be shameless and enjoy our hard work and effort and ignore the self doubt and critics for one moment.

My comic is Underworld Hysteria, a mafia based story.
A mafia boss is kidnapped and used by a bounty hunter for her own devious needs~
It's a lgbtq+ comic with wlw leads and I love the two leads and interactions. It's always fun writing them together and their dynamic. I also like the jokes I write in, even if they may be, uh, not appropriate and may be on the verge of getting me banned lmao.

What I love about comic making is telling stories and writing interesting characters dynamics! I love seeing characters grow, especially out of poor circumstances and become bettter. I want to inspire people with my comics like others did for me!

What I've come to love about webcomics is how working on them has just as much improved me as it has improved the quality of my work. What I like about LOSTLAND is the world that I'm making for it. It's the sort of world where any sort of adventure could happen, and I'm excited to see the day where some readers write their own tales in this world

That said, if you're down for some supernatural, post-apocalyptic adventures through a wild and almost fantastical world, give LOSTLAND a go!

I only just started my first comic a year ago, but it's always been a dream of mine. Seeing my characters grow and develop, seeing how they interact with each other and the world around them. Telling a story about characters that mean the world to me, and being able to make people feel things with the characters and stories I created. That's what I love!

Making comics is the best way to express the genre I love the most (superheroes), but it's also a great way to get my stories out there in a more digestible way, since prose is less likely to find an audience. But there's also the great community involved, and the overall ability to possibly collaborate.

What I love about making comics is how much versatility you need to have as an artist in order to do it well! Something which really tripped me up when I decided I wanted to leave teaching and go into illustration was trying to choose an area of focus. I didn't want to only paint backgrounds, or only design characters, or only storyboard. I know I'd get bored and want to do all the things I wasn't being paid to do! ADHD is like that. I need constant variety.

But then I stumbled upon a Twitter post joking about how making comics requires you to do all of that, as well as write, create concept art, think sequentially, have a solid sense of pace and a knack for storytelling and I was like- "...Oh. I think... I think that's me. That's what I should do."

So I started doing it, and I LOVE IT. I also love how you need to push character expressions, work with a variety of dynamic camera angles, and basically just push yourself out of all your artistic comfort zones. Combine that with having to just draw a ridiculous amount, and you have an amazing medium for artistic growth.

Mine is My Crazy Classmates, a slice of life/comedy comic that is set on their own school (also outside in future episodes but they're mainly inside their own classroom.) It is heavily inspired from the animes: The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., and Daily Lives of High School Boys.

I'm gonna be honest. I like my comic because I think it's funny. I don't want to sound vain but I really like my idea and the story plot.

I hate drawing hands and feet. I hate it WITH PASSION. However, I know that I can't dodge making those especially in making comics. As time passed, I found myself enjoying drawing them (Doesn't mean I like them.)

GGY here! I write a dramatic comedy called Over 8 Miles that follows the lives of these adolescents dealing with their troubled pasts and facing them in their present day adventures. Because the story follows a plot I can't spoil much but what I enjoy the most about my comic are my characters and how they interact with each other. It's pretty cool how I can playfully capture such family/friendship relationship dynamics I've experienced and turn them into a story.

I've also really come to enjoy creating atmospheres and moods in each page I draw. I rely a lot on colour to set the tone for how each page will turn out so it's always fun to produce and experiment. I had a lot of trouble doing so in earlier years but I've really been able to hone it down since last year. I'm so pleased with my progress.

I've been working on the comic for almost 5 years now and I've really come to love how far I've come as a comic artist. It feels great being able to look at my comic today and say "I made this, I scripted this, it's really coming along and it's so amazing..." it's almost like magic.

I make a sci-fi comedy comic about a cowardly space pilot that accidentally takes a job with a small group of bounty hunters.

I've wanted to make a webcomic since I was maybe thirteen or fourteen. I tried a few times back in high school but never got more than a few pages in, and when I was in college I didn't have time. Now though I'm making a comic I'm really happy with (at least some of the time), and the one year anniversary of posting the first page is this Wednesday!

Sometimes I am super proud about my own comic, sometimes I feel like "who would even read such a thing??". But the best thing is the Improvements I made durring those years. From something absolute amateurish to something pretty decent. And thats why I love my series, it made me the artist I am today

My comic Cyber Souls and it is a futuristic sci-fi fantasy story. Lots of diverse characters from different walks of life and colors of skin. There is a lot of elemental 'magic' called weaving (that has a scientific explanation later) and high-tech gadgets.

The thing I love about my comic is the world-building and also using my comic to help spread awareness about mental health. One of the ways people unlock their powers is through very intense - often life-threatening situations. I've tried to make this an example of how you can overcome your trauma and pain to make yourself stronger and move powerful than you ever thought.

My comic is a monthly action/supernatural/fantasy series.
I just love drawing fights, I've taken a liking to drawing and writing the character interactions and personalities along with my writer. My work is traditionally made n inked to resemble a manga but is read left to right like a regular comic.

Summary: There's a group of vampires who Forget Everything After Remembered about the human world once they are turned and never look back. Although, there once was a vampire who had a want to be among the living. It was only a matter of time before he found himself in love with a human. But as they planned to run away, together he killed her. However, the couple had a child, and I'm that horrible offspring. And even though I'm an Immortal, I'm just dying to meet dear old dad.

What I love about making comics is that any story and narrative fits its structure; you can tell anything, anytime in any way, and that's powerful and empowering! And what I love about Menmar is the fact that it helped me heal from many art blocks and wounds of the past, and I truly hope it does the same for every reader who might need healing.

From Farsi/ Persian, meaning "to build, to make or to create", Menmar tells the story of Nadhine, a maiden living in an empire in the brink of a political revolution, whose life is saved by Raheem, a being whose existence seemed to belong only to human myths and children's tales. Together they join forces and decide to help each other in dealing with a human Revolution and a mystical journey to uncover seven magical daggers which might be able to save the entire race of Djinns from extinction.

Sometime ago I stopped draw and become really rusty. However after I started my comic I've gotten back into drawing and improved.

I never was good at drawing, but since middle school I showed passion in writing stories, making up fanfiction for my favorite Characters, even loved making cross-over, then in High-School my first OC Alfredo was born, and slowly, many more character were developed in the span of 8 years of conceptualization, 3 different story drafts, many rewriting of them, until a big one merge that ended creating the world that I've been working for 3 years in writing and revision, that is the world of "The Golden Garden", that not only saved me from harsh times, but also made me love writing again, and eventually, I've ever since improved in my style and also on how to put down the story and fledge the Characters, and so, when working on my Graphic Novel, with the help of a talented artist, I always love to keep working on the final writing of the main story, while releasing the Spin-off that I made as an introduction to it.

GENRE: Fantasy, Sci-fi Slice of Life
Set in a "Fantasy" world with Sci-fi roots, "Stories from the Golden Garden" is a "Slice of Life" anthology that, following the Prologue, tells 5 short stories based around 4 Holidays that are celebrated by the Main Characters, and the origin Story of the main protagonist of "The Golden Garden".
