It's Thanksgiving! What are you thankful for? :D

Here in the US we're enjoying a day of Thanksgiving. Amid the bountiful food, family drama (AKA thrown shade) and hugs from friends and family alike, we take the time to remember things we're thankful for!

For my team, we're super thankful for Tapastic as a platform for us as creators. Today our comic Kamikaze marched past 700 subscribers, and we're just under 70K views! This year we had our first cosplayer (I shamelessly ugly cried while I hugged her), and our first guest appearances at conventions. It's been a great year for us, and a lot of it just wouldn't have been possible without the folks here dishing out helpful suggestions, compassionate empathy (especially when photoshop crashes), and the boundless creative energy that keeps people like myself and my team inspired to create!

So to you Tapasic staff, mods, creators and especially readers, we raise a glass - and pose the question: What are you thankful for today?

Not thanksgiving for me today, I am in the wrong country.

But for the sake of participation I'll go with not having to live in poverty anymore.

I don't celebrate Thanksgiving, being a heathen Swede, but I'm thankful for a bunch of things. : D

I'm thankful for my good health and my wonderful family. I'm thankful for the warm reception I've had for my comic, which is my precious baby project and it's been wonderful to finally move it from "someday maybe" to a thing that actually exists. I'm thankful for my friends and all the support I've received throughout the year.

I'm thankful for the roof over my head, for the food on my table and the clothes on my back. I'm thankful that I live in a country that isn't currently at war. I'm thankful that I don't have to flee across a continent to find refuge.

... I'm thankful for my ridiculously floofy cat, who keeps my spirits up when I feel like moping. <3

The big one is I was hit by a car earlier this year when walking home from dinner. I have never been more fully thankful to be alive and (mostly) healthy.

Also thankful that there is plenty of delicious food around here to eat =D

I'm really into VR/AR after webcomics so it's been a exciting year and even bigger year coming. There is a game called House of languages for the GearVR so it's pretty exciting to see some unique use cases for it, imagine learning Japanese, or having a game where a Anime character could help teach you Japanese.
Speaking of learning a language, I could see people using AR with the Hololens or even the Magic Leap to translate foreign text, that would be cool to look at a menu in Japanese wearing AR glasses that didn't look silly and have it automatically translated in front of you, and even having the price next to it translated to USD, cool and useful use cases like that.
There are SO many use cases for it, I'm thankful for it and how it could help and benefit people.

Yay! Thanksgiving!

I'm really thankful for my parents that went through a rough spell this year, but are now pulling through and making a strong come back.

Also for my three awesome cats that love to dogpile ontop of me, my amazing husband that's always there for me, and the awesome comic communities on Tapastic and Twitter.

All in all, I don't make much not to be grateful for.
