We're two weeks into the Comics Challenge! I'm glad so many people are sticking with it. If anyone's feeling a little low on ideas, today's quote is a little tip for being creative.

Today, I've literally just been connecting things to create a map for my comic. Working on this has been helping me solve plot holes. It will also give readers a better understanding of the plot.

Still a work in progress:

More concept drawings. So, the hazy style works well on out of focus background objects and environments, as well as on characters that are defined by their line art.

But not nearly as well on line less or more defined objects in the foreground (chair, table, kettle, mug etc). I'll have to use something sharper.

Soooo... haven't posted in a while  BUT! Progress was made!

I officially finished page 51 (textures, edits + lettering adjustments included) and I'm currently in the process of uploading it on Patreon/my website/ComicFury. Here's a panel preview (with... a little bit of a spoiler :D).

Now, off to make thumbnails for page 52!

Finished coloring one page which I am really happy about, because I thought I wouldn't finish anything today  trying not to sweat too much because of backgrounds...at least while I can ^^

Day 15! Busy day for me, so just a quick update. Made a little more progress on the map I'm working on.

Yesterday I worked 2:08hours and today 1:11 and with that, I finished penciling the last panels of the episode I'm working on and started inking

But as I took the pic I realized the eyes of the girl looked weird and erased them. So I guess I have to do them properly and then ink. Doing this challenge has made me realize that I need to learn how to draw faster XP. I'm supposed to finish this episode on this weekend but I'm not sure if I will be able to. At the rate making the episodes I feel like I'm gonna run out of buffer soon

Flattened the colors of the new page. All that's left to do now is most of the work

@ricardoaltuna Aw stick with it, the weekend has only begun. You can do it! As for running out of buffer, maybe slow down your update frequency, or if you're able to get some extra free time do a "marathon day" and work on your comic all day to rebuild your buffer.

Day 16 of the July Comics Challenge! The challenge is halfway through, but may we have a positive experience for the remaining half as well!

Finally finished this map for my comic! I kinda went overboard, but it was fun. I've always wanted to make a detailed map like this.

I have officially started entered the script writing phase!

a few days ago. I'm actually on draft 2 already but I forgot to update about it lmao

Went full Marie Kondo on my Patreon because it was a huge mess. :see_no_evil: Lined a few panels, including those with the crazy stairs, my brain hurts now :pumpkin:

@gabriellabalagna this is a really nice map! :open_mouth: Will look great in the book ^^
