July COMICS CHALLENGE - Get Stuff Done!

Got my scanning done, on to the very start of a brand new batch of pages: cutting up paper!

I start off with big sheets of Strathmore's 500 series 2-ply plate finish Bristol board (yes, I AM that specific about my paper...), which is 23 x 29 inches, and from which I can get 3 11x17 pages, plus some useful scraps.

First I measure and mark out the page sizes...

And then I cut them apart very carefully with an X-acto knife!

Haven't posted an update in a couple of days cause I usually do it at night and I've been working late on my job and when I'm done I'm so tired I just wanna sleep. BUT I haven't stoped working on the comic at all, here are some more panels I have done:

The second to last is not ready yet.

I'm almost done with this episode, still got a big panel though but after that is just smaller ones that can be done quickly. I feel confident that I can finish it before the challenge ends.

Day 29 of the July Comics Challenge! I'm losing steam, but I won't let that stop me. Thought I could finish my drawing today, but I'm gonna do the shading tomorrow. (If I forgot to mention, heavily using a photo reference.)

I've been stalking this post for quite a while so I've decided to drop what i've been doing so far.
Today, I finally got the concept art for my protagonist's space suit. Here's what it'll look like:

Oh, at the fabric store. (JoAnn, if you're somewhere that has them.) I forget how much it was, but I get a lot of use out of it, so it doesn't really matter.

Wow, it's day 30 of the challenge! Felt like it would never come, but suddenly the end of the challenge is almost here.

Today, I finished shading this drawing and threw in an easy background. No idea what I'm gonna do tomorrow though. lol

I'm working on my final art redo today:

it's been a busy week with commissions and I recovered some books and made a knife handle and worked on putting two honda engines back together and drunk champagne and built up my next few 3d sets and finished my last comic and now I've got to get back to thumbnailing the next few episodes. It's always like this. Next 30 day challenge will look exactly like previous 30 day challenge. It's been fun seeing everyone's progress. Awesome.

Been working on page 54 in the last few days
-On July 28th, I did all the backgrounds. Yep, all of them (I'm still ridiculously proud of myself for that :'D)
-Yesterday, I did the character lineart + flats.
-Today, I kept working on the shading. There's still plenty of work to do, but I'm getting closer to finishing it!

Unfortunately, I can't post any pictures because they'd be a HUGE spoiler ;__;

Woah, it's already near the end! Time really flies!!

Spending the last days of July to finish the last episode of this season and add the finishing touches to this month's short animation

There're still a few things left undone, but we managed to hit most of our key targets this month.
Next month will be a lot more chill, cuz we'll start hiatus to sort out some personal things, learn new skills & build a buffer for next season!

Day 31, the final day of the July Comics Challenge! Thank you guys for doing this challenge with me. ️Everyone is so kind here and I loved following what you worked on all month. Congrats to everyone who participated!

August is too busy for me to continue the challenge, but you are all welcome to.

For the last day of the challenge, I have a finished illustration and a WIP illustration of my characters.
