Well I finished my next oil painting yesterday, which I'm really really happy with. I'm enjoying getting back into traditional media, it's just so intimidating to sit there with a brush in hand thinking 'I could totally ruin this right now by doing the wrong thing'. I ended up finishing it in four sittings, but that last one I procrastinated for like a month because I was scared of messing up. Well, needless fears, everything went off like a well-heeled tea party and hopefully the next one I'll have a little less anxiety and a little more confidence. I'll show it on wednesday with the release.
Also I sketched the next week's comic, and here's why i usually don't show my in progress work because who can even decipher? I like to construct anatomy with ellipses. It's scribbly. and my handwriting is good enough to write a prescription with. so. it all makes perfect sense to me and i'm inking straight off this.
