Honestly, I know leaving positivity, or any kinda comment towards another creator can be kinda....

frightening, or just daunting. You never know what you want to say. you just feel awkward. So. Have a thread! This can be wherever you want, to try and put some positivity to a creator, or just to the general populous of the forums!

However, if you feel too anxious to post it publicly, I will offer this; pm me whatever you wish to say, and i will post it in the thread anonymously. I'll make sure your name isn't on it, but your message is. The only requirement is that it's positive!!

I'll start it out!!

@fortunusgames I love Sam In New York, especially the anthology, it has the right amount of creepiness and scary. You are a brilliant story teller.

@jkb4753 I love The Assassins captive. It's funny, adorkable, and serious in all the right ways. Keep going my friend!!! I can't wait to see what happens to Klaus and Magnus.

@TalkingChalk your stories are fantastic! The world you've made is so deep in lore that I feel like I learn more about it each page with how the characters interact and everything, I love it!

@MK_Wizard How you do your retelling of this classic story is great! and the way you design the characters is great as well, really show cases the differences in between them. I can't wait to see how it will unfold~

@foxnflames Give Into Me is such a great piece, the characters, the era, and the history intertwined with it all just makes it all the better. I still find my self rooting for Darza each chapter and i can't wait to see where the whole thing ends up

@samiluu i love your art style, it seems so fluffy, and just... I honestly can't think of another word I want to use, but just I love it!! it portrays each character wonderfully. and I love black wings because i love stories delving into that sort of thing. and as with all of these, I can't wait to see where they'll go.

and these are just a few of the fantastic creators I follow. Please, leave some positivity!! and remember, if you don't want to leave it publicly, pm me and I will post it anonymously on your behalf!

Can I be positive for myself? I am conquering my writer's block and have written 5000 words in two days.

Heck yeah you can! Thats amazing and i'm extremely happy for you!!!

@GD_Cruz I love you're story and I hope you keep at it!

I guess what kept me going was the thought of having read a story has made me happy and keep going through tough times just like other stories had for me. Then it would only be right to return the favor and make a novel that could inspire others. I'm always striving to do better on my writing and I hope you stay at you're novel or comic as well! Because in truth the novels and comics that we make today will shape the inspiration of tomorrow.

This is by far one of the best communities I've ever been part of and I wish nothing but the best to all who post their stories and comics on Tapas. I'll always try to help and throw advice when I can.

Ahem.

@AilyneGouveia I love your story and I desperately want to draw a short crossover comic between our two female MCs, but I can't because oh god so many spoilers.

@Kaydreamer Your art is gorgeous, your characters have interesting and relatable personalities, and I want your curly-haired scruffyboy to meet my curly-haired clean-shaven half-elven boy, even though they're from completely different genres!

@mossiroots Speaking of interesting characters with quirks and personalities! Please keep going. Also, you drew the first known fan-art of my character, so of course I love you forever.

@Kaetana The same Curly boy that needs to meet Kaydreamer's scruffyboy needs to meet Raul-- even though I think they'd hate each other. I love your comic, your colors and backgrounds are beautiful, please keep going.

@Genii You draw wings SO. WELL. Mad respect.

@rmdooley I NEED MORE GIVE ME MORE. I subscribe to very few black-and-white comics and yours is well done!

@Moon Your art on Camelot's Twilight is beautiful, and while I know it's early in the story, I'm looking forward to more.

I'm so thankful to be a part of this inspirational community because so many of you encourage me to be the best version of myself as an artist. I learn so many new things every time I engage with this forum. I'm also so amazed by the creativity of everyone here. The diverse world of storytelling will forever be a huge inspiration to me!

This is so very wholesome. I just joined this forum a few days ago and already I could feel the warmth leaking out. Truly grateful I found this forum. It is a gem

Aaawww, thank you so much!

This is a great idea for a thread. :yellow_heart: I absolutely love this community. It's full of people who are not just supportive, but are willing to share real and honest advice, which is something I value enormously.

It's not hard to find fluffy online communities where everyone only ever says positive things. It's much harder to find communities like this one, which feel friendly, safe and warm, but which are also genuine places of advice and learning, and where people aren't afraid to share their knowledge. To me, that's genuine positivity and support. It's much more valuable.

There are so many people here I really admire and enjoy talking to - too many to list without accidentally forgetting someone and feeling bad. But I am going to give one particular shoutout:

@darthmongoose
I'm in awe of how often you jump into threads with detailed answers to all sorts of different questions. You clearly put so much time into this community, and it's so admirable. Not only that, but your advice is rock-solid, and you justify everything you say with various examples and explanations. Even in the rare instance where I don't agree, I can still clearly see where you're coming from, and how you arrived at your conclusions. You're really respectable.

I want to @ all the people on this forum who are drawing. Because I've noticed over the past year as I've seen y'alls art come and go that there's just so much improvement and I don't know if they realize it, but I realize it, and I'm pretty happy whenever I see all that progress. Art can be really intimidating, and especially for the younger folks or the less inexperienced--like damn, you're really getting better, you really are, step by step.

And for the people who are like older even or more experienced--like seriously, it's kind of crazy when you see someone who's art you're familiar with pop up with a new cover or a new page and it's like "woah, they levelled up on me" so an old dog ain't too old to learn new tricks, either.

Aaaah thank you! :cry_swag:

I think your in-depth critiques and guides are excellent too! You have some real pro-level expertise that shows a really strong academic grounding that as a largely self-taught artist, has been helpful to me too!

Also shout outs for excellent tutorials and advice I've seen on the forums need to go to @ninjashira , @rajillustration and @DokiDokiTsuna ! There's been some great advice and threads on craft and technique, or just informative coaching of people in need of guidance lately!

Just a tip...

If you're making connections and appreciate the support of other creators on here, don't just depend on the Tapas forums as your only means of connection. Start and join Discords, send private messages, Hell! Become pen pals!

Just form other social links when you want/can, trust me.

aww thanks very much! it made my day :two_hearts:
I will do it as soon as I have a bit of time! :two_hearts:

I have too many love letters that I'm too awkward to write anyway, even anonymously :sweat_01:.

But everyone who is posting art here, I'm sitting in front of my computer and just zooming in and staring and appreciating your skills and effort and individual strengths - constantly amazing and inspiring. I've been around just shy of a year I think and am also stunned by the growth I've seen with artists where I'm exposed to more of your work. :hype_01:

And the folks who are helping out and giving advice and sharing your experience... you are the best, really.

More positivity (a way to just bump the thread lol)

I see so much love and help on this forum and honestly i can't believe it sometimes. So. Stay awsome, here's more people that I like in my library!

@Stargazer31 i love love love your comic! the characters, the drama, the tensions, the amazing outfits loki wears! it's all amazing! ngl.
