I saw a post for patreons, so I thought I'd make one specifically for those of us that use kofi! (or both, if you like to branch out)

I post advance pages, previews, wips, and secret art on kofi for only supporters, and take commissions there. I really love the set up even if it's paid. It just feels very easy to access. I like that people can get perks just for having been a donor in the past, and also get some specifically for subscribing. This sounds like an ad for kofi but i swear it isn't I'm just enjoying posting secret files for people.

Anyway, Here, check mine out and post yours. We can follow each other there!!

I only have regular Ko-fi but my page is here

I usually try to share wips when I remember along with posting high res version of my art but lately I've just been doing commissions ^^; I'm hoping to get back to wips and adding wallpapers to my Ko-fi shop but I'm saving that for when I've got the time to work on things

Ko-fi really is a good platform so I can understand the feeling of going on and on about it's positives

I have one but I'm not exactly sure how to approach it very well, or even what to use it for right now.
Like ... Does posting on there even bring new eyes on stuff or do I need to market it through everything else. I dunno. But 2021 is the year I want to figure out how to use it efficiently.

I have a Ko-Fi myself!

Often, I use it to post progress updates based on my work, as well as a lot of sketches and WIPS that I didn't have time posting to my usual social medias. I feel like Ko-Fi's a great and easy way to support creators. I just wish more people used it to be honest. But hey, If you'd love to see my work, your support could do wonders!

Hello!

Who can kindly explain how Ko-fi works and the difference between being tipped on tapas than there?
Can you also link your Ko-fi profile on the author comment section underneath your chapter, or you are risking of being shut down if you do so?

A few things.

  1. kofi doesn’t take a cut. They are running solely on having people pay for extra features.
  2. You don’t have points or anything, just money, so there isn’t really a “give free” situation like with ink.
  3. You set the price on tips, so the minimum is abased on your choice.
  4. As stated above, with a subscription you can offer incentives, commissions, and more things that will allow you to reward your donators. All of which do not take a cut.

Thank you! @snailienz

As a writer, what do you think they should post on their feed? What content? And also, commissions are "jobs" that people ask you to fulfil?
