Do you ever make the mistake where you draw something on the left, but it's suppose to be right? For example the driver's seat on a car, especially if you are US and the car is not? Or even pencils on the left hand instead of right? Or have a character standing on the left of someone and flip it by mistake on the next page? Show your mistakes or describe them x'D

Augh stuff like that is honestly the worst! To be honest thought it makes me think of how I often draw myself left handed even though I'm a right-y so I'm constantly either having to go back and redraw something or flipping the image to correct it

It's most common when I'm doing character illustrations like these:

But I've been guilty of overlooking such error in comics as well like here:

I want to say I'm getting better but honestly unless I'm checking and double checking I end up totally missing mistakes like that :sweat_01:

Thank god. I thought I was just a moron

absolutely not I think it's just normal to have looked at a page so long while working on it that our brains just ignore any errors and don't spot them till after posting or until someone points it out

it's embarrassing and a little tiring to say the least :sweat_02:

It's there even when I think am cautious. I went back and look at my chapter after this post and found my slight inconsistency. :open_mouth:

He could be switching hands between the pages but still...

Sometimes I draw bangs sweeping the wrong way and think "eh, no one will notice or care, hair has a mind of its own in cartoons."

Other times I'll draw a tattoo sleeve on the wrong arm and die instantly upon posting

This is something I struggle with a lot, actually. My main character Genesis is left-handed, but I am right-handed so things get a little confusing since I have to remember she uses her hands differently than I would.

And since most of the Kiwigonians are left-handed, but characters like Saige and Shilo are right-handed, I have to keep mental tabs on who's what so I dont screw up everytime I draw them.

I've redraw three of my mistakes already because it just pissed me off. I drew the originals in April-May

Easy Solution: Make your characters ambidextrous! There, problem solved.

I need to start making Shilo just use his tongue to pick up everything
