Here's an optional one if you want to really try some fun with digital techniques that will probably be way outside of anything you've done before. Try to match the colouring style of Errant. I will not hold it against you if this one is too complex, but it might be a fun challenge and you'll definitely have to use a lot of digital tomfoolery and hopefully learn tricks if you do attempt it.
I recommend either panel 2 or 3 of this page:
Tips:
It's done in Clip Studio, but you can probably get close enough in Photoshop or Sai.
Line art layer is on top of the colours.
Don't forget, you can always transparency mask your line art layer, that's how I got it to fade through colours on the exploding demon like that.
The magical stuff was drawn on a separate set of layers above the characters. There's a line art layer, and a colour layer with transparency lock and texture effects.
I only shade light coloured things or shiny things, like skin and eyes. Everything else is flat colour with an edge highlight.
Glows are always on a layer of their own.
Edge highlights are done by masking a layer on Add (glow) to the colour layer and going around with a hard edged brush in a bright colour appropriate to the tone/lighting.
Bottom layer is backgrounds. They use a cloudy textured brush.
