I.. don't like AUs.
I find them a perturbation.
Exceptions may be when the AU universe is more interesting imo (eg a high school setting is boring to me, a AU about older children in medieval times is more interesting).

I don't imagine drawing AU comics, although I could do a few illustrations for fun (I'm actually working right now on a solarpunk-inspired illustration for my comic).

Jk, it's totally fine <3 I find them fun tho, I really like seeing my characters doing about anything x'D And seeing how they'd do in an AU where their lifes weren't ~~ruined~~ affected by magic is pretty interesting, at least for me. I get to discover a bit more about their aspirations and all that without the big weight they carry on their shoulders.

And I hadn't heard the therm solarpunk before but I googled it and it looks awersome <33

Thinking of high school AU’s, which I haven’t really considered, but they sound like they could be interesting - my brother and I are going to do a crossover comic of all of our main characters in a high school specializing in how to become protagonists. Would that be considered a highschool AU?

Hahahaha that sounds fun, and yeah, you name it I highly doubt there's some kind of rule as for what qualifies or not as a highschool au x'D if it's in highschool go for it. It's not a normal highschool AU buuuut it does the job.

I finally finished this project. And still missed two or three DoppelRips I created. Ill just drop their pictures following this one xD

Bird Rip

The dude floating in the sky is Wanderer, he's a DoppelRip, and the giant silhouette in the bg is Ripzilla

This one is Ripper (a spoof of Flipper. Google it)

And...finally, If Rip was in the Marvel Universe, and was a host for the Venom Symbiote

@aqua03 Welp, Shade would still call himself Shade cause he's 2edgy4u and he'll always be like that XD and Flare would've called herself Gleam or something along those lines for her shiny aster powers. Probably Shade would get lightning based powers and Flare would've gotten protection magic.

That's actually petty cool. And yes, Shade is everyone's favorite edge boi. (Now part of me wants to see him as an Argonian like Boreas or Alpha given his disliek for fluffy Ungulates. )

Most of my AU stuff is not...um...happy?

XD even Rip_OG who's the most happy looking character is actually from a world where everything and everyone has been taken over by a techno-organic virus, including him. He's the only being there with any will of it's own.

I dunno, I have a hard time coming up with casual AU things. Everything has to be a fight or battle against some terror or tyranny with me. I don't mind comedy though, just...everything has to be coated in punches and violence.

@AbelDraws @Chita I took a break from working to quickly scribble up a Ladean Matthias and Xian Felicity. Felicity's a dark redhead instead of albino, and Matthias is blond instead of a redhead.

Yes xD Metal is actually one half of a deity duo. Hes the archetype of destruction and violence, while his counterpart Jim Jr (not a DoppelRip) is the archetype of creation and peace. (This is an allegory of Metal music as a whole.)

The universe they inhabited is completely annihilated, and Metal's guitar is a weapon called The Hatchet of War. It was used to penetrate the shield around Black Heart's dimension so the characters in the RP could enter.

Bird Rip? Every day is a struggle for life and death against Nature. Survival of the fittest and all that xD

I just tend to create everything as a supplement to what I already have. Though if there was one escapism I do with my characters it would be drawing them playing Metal music and doing extreme sports, but...even that is a battle against establishment and societal norms.

Edit: I realize now that I take myself waaaaay too seriously xD I swear in RP settings I do have fun though
