Yes!! I’d love too. They have cave paintings all over Mustang (a region in Nepal), some of them are super ancient but others are from 12th century! And it feels like they’re always finding new ones that get unearthed from landslides and earthquakes?? So who knows what other ones are out there. I really like the 1100s ones though, they have this funky style let me show you!!! >:0

I say cave paintings and people probably envision those ones in France from like prehistoric cave man era but I’m talking about these like really intricate paintings done by the Buddhist monks during that time, around 1000s-1600s

I think some dudes in the 60s stumbled upon those ones in France. Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s what my memory of useless facts and trivia says.

Yes!!! The real ancient old ones look cool too, but they’re a lot more symbolic and geometric. And yes I think the French Lascaux paintings were a recent discovery in terms of like “modern” findings! That particular cave painting I showed was around the early 2000s when they found it so it was hiding for a long time. Because of a lot of political turmoil Nepal has some lost and hidden art :’0 but I’m glad they’re able to find it now.

Nepal is both cold and warm depending on the region and time of year. I think it’s really only cold in the mountain tops all year round but it can get pretty humid I’ve heard in the summers in the valleys especially :0!

I don’t think Elsie and the gang would trek on Mt. Everest. Oxygen tanks haven’t been invented yet. Also it’s too high lol.

They could go to India though. Probably.

Originally the character of Roy was going to be an Indian prince and Elsie was named something else I can’t remember.

The idea was that he was rich but he was a sweet guy.

For "Of Lowlifes, Lutes, & Liars" we have our protagonist, Miss Khazmine Asteras with her icy blue eyes. She and her little brother, Aranthus, have the same glacier stare that is a hallmark of Outsiders; common, vibrant, and easy to get lost in.

It’s funny how far our stories change as we go with them I’ve had a lot of redos of various stories too and sometimes the characters First Edition™️ is totally unrecognizable to what they turned out to be.

I can relate to this as some of my redos of old childhood stories (I say like my childhood isn't only two years away, this story was from when I was like twelve, so about 7 years old now) took a drastic turn from what they originally were with only a few things in common, or were just too empty in their first drafts and had to evolve.

My comic "Hushabye Prince" (discontinued for the moment) was an example of this. The ML's interest in "The Princess Bride" changed into an interest in Cinderella specifically. He originally had no friends, but I ended up designing him a little sister who is his bff. The female lead originally liked Jane Austen novels but now likes bugs and Kaijou lol. And many OCs ethnicities and careers changed and their rather empty personalities developed more

I've got brown eyes lol, so they tend to be my default. I also have slanted eyes though, and many many of my OCs end up with those, so maybe they also kind of became a default? It doesn't matter what ethnicity they are, tho those eyes are often associated with Asian peoples (I'm not asian, but it's pretty common on my island for people to have slanted eyes, probably from our indigenous heritage)
