Some of the ones I've been enjoying immensely lately (I'm just gonna do the comics in this post, I will come back and do the novels later):
It's got cats. It's got 80's music. And it's extremely well drawn:
I find myself drawn to this evil little bunny, and I feel compelled to protect little Larry Berry. Great story telling and very creative:
I find this story very compelling. The interactions between the characters is so real, and the art is great.
This one gives me "Young Luke on Tattooine" vibes. The art is awesome, updates are large, and you can tell the artist puts a lot of work into this series.
This one is upbeat and silly. I love the facial expressions, and even the demons are lovable:
An LGBTQ-themed slice of life set in a UK high school, this is another one that I love the facial expressions, and I can feel the angst in the main character because back when I was young I had that angst
Just try to read this one without falling in love with the characters, especially the titular Blue Fedora:
An anthro comic drawn in a very nice style poking fun at regular life things (and giving me no end of opportunities for "otter" puns):
A compelling story told with a rough but refined art style:
Steven and Alex face down personal demons in this LGBTQ comic drawn in a bright, colourful style reminiscent of old Disney:
Howie and Sooch. What more needs to be said?
A finished story about shapeshifters and finding peace between two worlds:
Aww, hell, this is taking way longer than I thought it would. I'll try to continue this tomorrow. In the meantime, I'll also mention what is probably my favourite comic on Tapas:
Revelation of Eros follows the growth of a deeply scarred young man who is making friends in college... whether he likes it or not
And I'll also mention the FIRST comic I ever found on Tapas: Something Like Summer. which follows the lives of Ben, Tim, Jace, and others and is actually responsible for introducing me to the whole concept of gay romantic fiction (how sad is that?)
