Any Monster Hunter players here? Let's randomly talk about the franchise. Have you been playing any of its games recently? Which ones? What are you thoughts on Monster Hunter X? What's your main weapon(s) and why do you use it so much? Share some cool/funny stories of your hunts as well!

I play it! ^u^ My first Monster Hunter game that I played was MH3u on the 3ds. After a while I also bought it for the wiiU and transferred my save file there. I also played MH4u when it came out. My first main weapon was LBG up to until Grank where I changed to HBG. Been on HBG main ever since. One time online, I was hunting with 3 insect glaive users, but then I was the one who ended up mounting the monster.XD

My first was 3U too on 3DS. I used Hammer and started with it on 4U too, but I ended up switching to SnS. Because of the upward strike I'm usually the one who mounts monsters but my failing R hasn't been helping much lately.

A funny moment that happened online was when I was farming Gravios Pallium. It was my last run and I'd stop playing with or without Pallium. It was me and 3 CB users. I mounted it 3 times and when it died, I got 1 Pallium from body carve and another from tail carve xD I think I made desire sensor senpai happy and it decided to reward me.

Ahhh yes the dreaded desire sensor. We would hunt all day with my hunting group just to find one thing. One of my hunter friends needed a diablos hardhorn. After hunting countless times everyone got one except fot the one that needed the darn thing.XD

So nice to see people who like MH here in Tapastic ^_^ Now playing MH4U and yeah I was a bow-user ....WAS because my Stupid L button wont work >.< Im still new to the game and I think Its awesome but my lack of friends having a 3DS hindered me to enjoy coop :c

Ever tried a drop of alcohol to the faulty shoulder buttons? Thats how I fixed my DSi before and that's how my friends fixed their malfunctioning shoulder buttons. There are videos of that in youtube. I can't imagine playing without L & R using bowguns. I'll lose camera center and scope. Have you tried playing online coop?

Yes I did and it was very FUN I see other hunters that are attacking when someone is mounting which in fact is wrong according to the "mounting etiquette" but it was still fun :3 But I rather play with people I know than random peeps, too bad I dont friends with 3ds :c .PS. I tried every method possible to fix it but all of them are temporary fixes :<

Awwww.... that's too bad. I'm lucky that my XL is still functioning well. Yup, encountered people attacking while someone is mounted. Being a purist gunner, I can see if someone is mounting the monster. Sometimes other blademasters won't see it because they are too close to the monster and they didn't know that its being mounted. Then there's a few that will still attack it and causes the hunter to dismount.

I played with randoms ever since mh3u on the wiiU. They made online hard in mh4u due to the lack of microphone use and limited chat messages. Sometimes there are those mean randoms... I entered a room one time then one of the players messaged "Oh my a gunner" (the one who said it carted twice in the quest). And a lot of times they just kick me out without seeing me play.XD so yeah, nothing beats a local hunting session.
