Okay, so this is a bit awkward (if not down right embarrassing ) but I have a question regarding linking tapastic and twitter. I added a link to my One shot I published here and the tweet added an image link with the banner, only it's part of the banner that doesn't really look good. Is there any way to change that ? Can I somehow control what part of the banner is shown. Should I have had a custom ad banner? Considering that I opened that account for promotion purposes , a poor image might turn readers away.

I don't think you can control what image will be shown on pasted links. I suggest uploading a new image when you tweet. Then just add the link to the tweet as well.

Sometimes theres images linked to URLs, and twitter will automatically use that, unfortunately you have no control of what that is, and how it's cropped.

HOWEVER, the moment you upload an image with a link, twitter will override that default image. It is a good idea to create separate ad images! I do it all the time (:
