I use Ipadpro, Procreate, and Medibangpaint. Originally, I started with Krita but since there isn’t an iOS version, I switched to Medibang.

Ill do current art supplies and software because its changed alot over the years.
One due to software coming and then going obselete and art supplies changing brands or going obselete as well.

So current is:

Mixed Media: PrismaColor Pro Series blending pencil crayons (they are call coloured pencils in some countries) Prisma Color Pro Series Coloured Markers they do blend. Black ink makers I just get the local Manga brand fine to thick lines ones from the art store.
Both the markers and pencil crayons blend into each other too.
I use staedtler graphite pencils.
I have done practice anime art with pastels back 23 years ago on large pieces of white paper. It looked like the practice piece but I did not like how I used the pastel.
So decided to just use it on my own art, when I use my markers and pencil crayons combo together. Looks nice for feathering.
And sometimes I take my characters I draw and make them in polymer clay figurines with much detail. So then its Super Sculpey brand.

Digital: I use a WIN 10 gaming laptop (currently working on saving up to build my custom creative studio PC for more umph for 3D and animation rendering). For illustrations in RGB Clip Studio Paint the full version. For graphics Photoshop. For CMYK and true vector. Illustrator.
Use a Wacom Pro tablet.

No I'm not rich, been just aquring and saving up for stuff for my studio over the past 25 years. I worked, got stuff gifted to me or still using college supplies that have not been used up yet.

On desktop, for comics and other finished art:

On tablet, for sketching and noodling around:

Samsung Tab 6 Lite - pretty small and not super powerful, but decent as a digital sketchbook

Traditional art, mostly sketching and one-off illustrations:
Sketchbooks; a moleskine notebook for comic dev, and a collection of cheap multimedia sketchbooks that I keep in a travelers notebook to stay organized.
A fat stack of white inkjet printer paper
Watercolour paper for paintings! Usually Strathmore or Canson, but I'm not picky.
Pencils! Random graphite pencils, col-erase pencils, especially brown and terracotta
Ink! Pentel brush pen, Tombow fudenosuke felt tips, assorted fine liners, Faber Castell Pitt pens
Markers! Copic ciao and Crayola super tips lol
Watercolours! A range from Van Gogh to ️Daniel Smith​️
Gouache left over from college
Holbein Acryla gouache, my beloved
Posca paint pens
Prismacolour Scholar colored pencils

It sounds like a lot, but I've collected it over the last idk 12 years or so? Some of it was gifted or even leftover college supplies. Even though most of my finished work is digital, I like to spend some time away from screens when I can. I do all my comic thumbs & layouts with pencil and paper, and like to do paintings and handmade crafts whenever I get the time.

I use more traditional tools. Prismacolor markers are my favorite to use, however recently several of the colors I like have been discontinued, so I'm going to try a different brand. I love using Faber-castell pit pens for line-work, and for my graphic novel I'm working on I uses Faber -castell colored pencils. The colors are very vibrant.

Oh yeah I had some prisma markers back in college that I bought for an assignment. The blended really nicely! But I emptied them pretty quickly, and they aren't refillable, so I ended up switching to copics afterwards.

I love the Pitt pen colour selection, but I find the brush tips get dull fast, so I mostly use them for sketching rather than linework.

Cintiq 22" and Photoshop. I wish I had a portable tablet not attached to a PC, but I have no idea which one would be nice and not overly expensive.

@KSlinger this! I got Cintiq after so much overthinking, since I haven't had a screen tablet before. Now I am reading about portable ones and some people are like "well I can't get used to Procreate, so the tablet is kinda laying around" and it's freaking killing me lol

My sister has Procreate on iPad and that's great for her as she can draw curled up on the sofa or in bed or at work etc, but I'm like...I don't know if I'd go other places to draw? I kind of need a humomgous screen and a desk to focus? But then Procreate is such a great tool and everyone uses it so ?? It's just such a big investment

I use a 2016 Macbook Pro, a Gaomon PD1560 tablet, Clip Studios Paint, and occasionally photoshops

I just retired my 2006 Wacom Pro small. Only ever used one Nib. I never got rid of it, its just in my studio in my closet in its sleeve. Great for emergencies. I wanted more touch screen options so got the Wacom Pro Large 2020 version back in 2021. Still on one nib. It came with many.
They are a good brand for drawing tablets.

Once you start using it you will never go back to anything else (unless specifically doing something traditional). I use my Cintiq so much I go through a rubber nib about once a week. It's a game changer for producing art.

Lenovo laptop, Clip Studio Paint EX, Adobe Illustrator(for lettering and logo/page design), Photoshop, and a Huion Kamvas 22" screened tablet.

Have an iPad for when I wanna do stuff on the go, but I dont use it as often coz it's hard trying to catch wi-fi and I save a lot of my iPad work to Dropbox for storage.

well I can't get used to Procreate

This is me. I have it on my iPad but I havent touched it since I initially tried it out...I didnt like it, so I do the subscription thing with CSP on my iPad(pro version for $5 per month)- and no I didnt upgrade my iPad to the 2.0 version.

I bought the Huion coz I was originally going to stick with Wacom, but I was gonna snag the 16" Cintiq at $750; the Huion was 22" at $400, so I decided to save myself $350.

As for traditional stuffs, I mainly use 0.7 mm pencils, Staedler leadholders(one with non photo blue lead and another with 2H lead), col erase colored pencils, Kuretake Millennium microns, and a PITT brush pen. Work in a 10" x 13" spiral sketchbook; I try to use every bit of the page that I can and I dont care for non spiral spine sketchbooks.

I felt the same way. Luckily I had a friend who could let me try drawing on her ipad and I loved it.

Took me a while to save up for one (and the pen), but it’s worth it just to be able to relax and draw whilst watching movies on the telly etc.

Ok, I took the plunge. As mentioned above I used Krita for drawing on my Surface Pro 8.

Krita just crashed on me, costing me an hour's work.

Again.

It's only an hour, so it's not the end of the world. But it's MY hour, dammit!

I've just downloaded Clip Studio Paint. I've signed up for the monthly thing because it gives me three months to figure this crap out.

I sketch and ink with traditional mediums, and color "screentone" digitally.

Primary tools:
.9 mm HB led for most sketching
.7 mm HB finer details
Erasers (large one, gummy, & stick eraser)

I used to use Canson marker paper, but recently switched to Strathmore Bristol so I could Copic color when I want (heavier paper). I get large sheets and cut them in half to double the page number

Zig Kuratake Black in 60 (with synthetic glue)
Saji nib/fine point brushes/technical pens mostly Microns, but some Faber Castille, too.

I sometimes will use other nibs, but that's my primary one.
I also use stencils for measuring heads and body height, as well as rulers and such/Dad's old drafting brush.

Program:
Right now, unless I want to have some fun with Copics/colored inks/etc, I will color and "screentone" in Photoshop CS5.

I'm not happy with my screentones. I use the same ones I downloaded from some manga pack years ago, but I also haven't had the gumption to force myself to learn Manga Studio (this is the original version of Clip Studio. It functions! But I dunno how to use it XD I need to commit time).

Were I rich, I'd like to use screentone/zipatone sheets more often, but they just are too expensive.

It's cool seeing all the programs/mediums people use for their comics :3
