Hi! My name is Krill, I am an upcoming artist and writer. I am looking for long term artists to help me on a project. Season 1 will be approximately 25-30 episodes long, and the budget for each episode is 300-500USD. I am willing to pay more down the line if things goes well. I need art for the characters, background and typesetting. If you are able to do all of it, that's a great bonus!!

Here is the story pitch, including script for the first 2.5 chapters and my concept art for 2 characters (though I want a different style for them):

Requirements:

  • Comfortability with drawing diverse characters. I have black and brown characters, fat and skinny characters, disabled characters and LGBTQ+ characters. The protagonist uses a variety of mobility aid and he's in a wheelchair most of the time, one of his love interest is a chubby guy and the other is a trans man. The rest of the casts are also LGBTQ+ and I need my artist to be able to faithfully represent them. Please show me this in your portfolio.

  • Able to create modern settings and design/draw some scifi, space fantasy, and alien creatures. These scenes are not frequent however, the settings is mainly in a modern, Japanese inspired city, a home and a school.

  • An anime/manga/webtoon art style is preferred.

  • Clip Studio Paint is preferred.

  • Open communication and regular delivery!

  • A critical awareness of how fiction Can actually affect reality, and have responsibility over what we put out into the world. Proshippers DNI

Post your portfolio below!! I will contact you for further inquiries if I really like your stuff! We will start out with me commissioning the main characters (up to about 15 characters) in your style, with your rates, along with designing a cool looking high-school uniform. Time can be flexible!

my rates are $5-$20 per panel, it depends a lot in the details, color, and other things

Hard to say, because I haven't done a scroll style comic before and I am not sure what is considered one panel (a single art piece with different zooms can be used as different panels, and some panels that are just simple textures or gradients). I'd say about the standard for an episode, about 30? I am more used to drawing manga and the one I am working on at the moment is approximately 18-20 page per chapter.

Fair enough, I get that.

I mean, I'm interested, I've been looking for a collab for a while. I currently have a BL webcomic and another one I've been working on where the main character is PoC. Also have experience drawing wheelchairs and the like. I'm also queer myself with plenty of experience in the community so I relate quite well to a lot of scenarios that a lot of people don't get.

Anyway, I don't have an outright portfolio currently, but you're welcome to check out my current stuff if you like.

Either way, good luck, sounds like a good story.

Edit: Oh wait, I have instagram: https://www.instagram.com/silencebl/12

Ah damn, I keep thinking of more things, lol.

I should also say that I have Clip Studio Pro.

You have enough budget to get a team I think. Maybe you should divide the task for 2-3 persons. Plus it'd be faster.

Edit: ohh you're looking for a team :joy: I thought you only need 1 person.

Hi Everyone! Thank you for your earnest support!!! I have found my artists, but I am still looking for a Typesetter!

Thanks again, everyone, for your replies!!! I hope you all the best of luck for your future projects!
