You can't expect an artist who isn't even your friend to draw a whole comic for you just because. Because if they're going to draw for free, they might prefer to do their own stories.
What plans do you have for the future to split profits 50/50? You should be also sharing if you plan to open a Patreon, Ko-Fi... etc or you're planing to send the comic as a project to a publisher, so any possible artist knows what to expect If you're looking for sample pages, you should also be considering paying the artist for them too.
If you want your story to go somewhere, you've got to invest time AND money on it. If you want a partner who sacrifices a lot and also puts a lot in the comic, that's really hard to find and I wish you good luck.
But this sounds like you're looking for a freelance artist to hire, and apart from "just" comic pages, you'd also need character sheets, concept art, and lettering, which means a lot of time and money and you should definitely pay them in advance for their work and not wait for any possible profits (which they should be entitled any way as a co-creator).
