OK, @aqua03, I've gone through your comics and here are my thoughts!
DRGN:
- The style is very cute and expressive. I'm a sucker for very colorful things, so I like how you're pushing yourself to experiment with colors and see how they work for you!
- To add on to the expressive point, it's great to see you use as many expressions as possible. Even between just the prologue and the first page, there is already a good variety of them. Selena seems like a particularly expressive character and has a charm about her because of it.
- I found the interactions between Selena and the fiend very entertaining; I can always appreciate a good back-and-forth between characters. For example, in the second page, I like the little comment the fiend makes about how she speaks; it's ok, Selena, it's endearing!
Overall, it's a fun little pilot and I look forward to seeing your reboot. It'll be great to see what you've learned from this version and how you improve on it with the new series!
The Amazing Adventures of Alpha Alpaca:
- It's quirky and a fun little commentary on how silly some superhero comics can be!
- I always get a kick out of the normal citizens not caring about the hero's actions nearly as much as the hero thinks they deserve. Bonus points for commenting on how heroes just never seem to clean up all the messes that they make.
- The humor in those PupTeamEpic comics was great! I love that series and all the pop culture references were great. I particularly liked the "by the power vested in me by fanfics..." joke.
It was a fun little comic and a nice little foray into making sequential art with a creative idea! Not often do you hear about an adorably fluffy alpaca getting into the business of superhero-ing.
I hope you enjoy my little reviews~.
