Making your own wikia

has anyone ever been suuuuper tempted to just make yer own wiki for your comic? sometimes i have like these uber tiny details in my comic and im just sittin there like "oh man. i could make a whole wiki page on this one backround character. i could just do it. i mean no one would read it but i have so much power right now. i could do it"
so has anyone ever thought of makin one? or actually made one?? cuz no joke id kinda wanna check that out

It's always been in the back of my mind to make one, just to put those tiny details or general character info for everyone to access o3o since sometimes the information can't make it into the webcomic right away.

I designed and named a lot of background characters, and literally no one will ever know those things XD

haha exaaaactly my thinkings too. i got so much extra useless info that i'd love to dump somewhere. but like @insomniascrawl said. im not even almost popular enough for anyone besides me to read it haha. but WHO KNOWS. maybe i'll find a excuse to make one some day

I made one once on pbworks, but it was private so only I could look at it. xD It was just a place for me to have fun exploring all the tiny details of my world/characters and putting them all in one place.

I don't have a wiki per se, nor have I thought of making one, BUUT I do have an information folder that outlines characters, weapons, abilities, locations, plot points I'm not allowed to forget, relationships between characters, and other important files that have saved my butt many a time for when I forget a character's abilities when I debut them and stuff :U Also it's nice just to be organized

I never thought of this but this is a REALLY good idea to do! Just like as things progress, I'd add them to a wiki page and all the little details that don't and do make sense get laid out for people.
This would be especially goof for people with long term comics. The problem with reader retention? Just refer them to a wiki page that has the information rather than a set of comic pages!

I'm definitely doing this when I start publishing my story ^^

Omg i wish!! Id love to be that popular!!OvO but if you do it yourself. You rob your fans of doing it baby. And thats not okay, what else will they dedicate there time too?? But i see you could make your own informative and personal wordpresa sitw that explains all the things your thinking of
